Didn't you learn the last time, it doesn't work. We had this discussion before. I rather wait 10 minutes for a fun game where i actually get kills, then wait 10 seconds to be cannon fodder. So i just quit playing PVP again like most casual will do, playerbase will plummet again. Congrats Bungie for destroying my game again.

1 commentaireWe need a choice in every pkaylist. Let the players chose if they want SBMM or CBMM.

60 commentairesIt is because the streamers/sweaties are complaining about SBMM. They do not want to play matches where they have to play (close to) balanced matches all the time. It's bungies desperate act to save trials from failing again due to no engagement and to appease the angry streamers (less than 5% engagement). I watched a vid about power creep in trials, and the numbers look TERRIBLE. Bungie has always sympathized with the streamers/sweaties not having as much fun because if they have challenging matches all the time they aren't having fun. It is more fun to go into a match and dominate the enemy. I believe they said this multiple times when people recalling for SBMM originally. This is also why they wait so long to fix broken weapons sometimes. People like to feel overpowered, makes the game more fun for them. I don't expect better players to go easy on a team just because the team is getting ruined it's not fair to either side. SBMM was to balance things out in pvp. Really sorry for the sweaties that they're good at a game and have to face people that are equally as good. You can just see that bungie only cares about their hardcore players because they don't care about the casual players The toxic sweaties will always say "get good at the game". Not everybody can play on the same level, some people just simply play better (it is like everything else in life, academics, sports, budjeting, growing up, ect.). Some people have slower reaction times and are less coordinated, some people have really fast reaction times and coordinate well. I sympathize a little bit for both sides but mostly for the casual players. Everyone plays to have fun. Most people have more fun playing against an evenly matched team. For the people that say "get good at the game" and they want to take out skill based matchmaking so they don't have to sweat every match. Those people need to get better at the game too because they're complaining cause the matches are too hard, or they are just lazy and have disorder where they have to feel they are the best (but are you really the best wanting easy wins?). It's a vicious cycle and ultimately casuals will loose in the end, it is in bungies track record. Ultimately a large part of the pvp community of Destiny has become very toxic like being good at a video game makes them a bad a$$, what do you expect? Ultimately this will just end up biting bungie in the long run. They've already got next to no engagement in trials, casuals will get tired of getting steamrolled in crucible in general and all of it will end up being like trials. I could be wrong but that's kind of the way I see it, that are going to lose more people in crucible. There are no guarantees that you're always going to be up against a team that's going to steamrole you, yes it's going to happen sometimes but there are no guarantees that it'll always happen. To you streamers that want easy matches, the people that watch you can tell if you're trying. The people that watch you can tell if you're getting an easy win, it's not that impressive. I watched some of the streamers literally talking to their channel and barely doing anything, the people they were playing with were carrying them or they were playing against teams that were just utterly terrible. I kind of figured it was a private match and the other team (his friends) were throwing.

4 commentairesSEASON OF THE STEAM ROLL!!!! well, all those sweaty streamers & try hards will be delighted.. back to bully boy pub stomp-a-romp 🙃

1 commentaireBoycott crucible this season. Let the sweats play with each other

I love it when ‘gud’ players cry about playing other ‘gud’ players. The ONLY sensible argument for CBMM is because of the connection. I am sympathetic. But not enough to spend my time padding stats for Sweatys. Bungie decided to support the ‘gud’ players bullying the ‘casuals’ and now the ‘casuals’ and their wallets, get to decide what to do next... Bungie could just leave it up to the community. The suggestion has already been made to make two quick play - one SBMM and one CBMM. Everyone wins.

just play comp if u want sbmm lol

I’m gonna say this much, skill based match making only works under very specific circumstances. In an ideal world where it would be possible without lag or connections where you constantly have to wonder if it’s your shot that’s bad or just the connection, and if the sandbox was open and broad enough to be mostly balanced, sbmm would be entirely valid and the best thing. But it isn’t, sbmm was horrible with the connection, and people would outright teleport not through there connection or yours, but just how yous are on different continents and the connection wasn’t stable. Pair that with a completely unbalanced sandbox, you get 6 stack lag lords all running suros felwinter or revoker summoner. Destiny is not ever going to be a competitive shooter like call of duty, overwatch, rainbow 6 so why should the matchmaking be like that? Cbmm gives the best game experience, best connection and sometimes yeh you’ll get steam rolled. But you can’t get better in a lag infested sweat lobby. Like it or lump it, that’s the truth.

Well they did it because the community wanted it. If you belong to the smaller group that wants SBMM to stay you pulled the short straw

9 commentairesModifié par Bush's Baked Beans : 6/14/2020 6:01:08 AMSBMM - good for new players who can't fight against better players. No sense of progression because every game you'll be fighting equally skilled opponents. CBMM - good for players who want to get better at the game and always have consistently good connections. Sense of progression determined from climbing leaderboards. KD now becomes an accurate measurement of skill because it is compared to all players, not those in your skill bracket The only players who want SBMM aren't even good players to begin with, and don't want to take the time to get better at the game. Really says alot about you to just give up on something just because it's slightly difficult. Try learning to play an instrument or play a sport, or will you just get to bummed out cuz "i'll never be able to play the freebird solo"

1 commentaireThe only way to get SBMM back is to have your voice heard. Make post on the forum asking for sbmm back. Like all the post that want it back. And stop playing crucible. And tell your friends and have them spread the word. Don't play crucible, Show Bungie how we feel. Boycott crucible tell your friends

I’m trying to get mountain top and sbmm helped so much cause I already sucked but first game on without ssbm no kills and a .07 efficiency
-
Yeah it sucks. I was actually having a good time as a casual crucible player these last few seasons. Before the dark times....
-
Comp has it.... there’s a safe space for fodder there
-
Actually more people are playing pvp now. Mate let me help u with something. I was very bad in pvp, and I also wanted sbmm to come so I can be protected. But the thing is, if you stay in that safe bubble of low skill brackets, you will never get good at the video game 😅 If set your mind to it, you will do better, just like I went from negative kd to unbroken.

So you want to wait 10 minutes get some kills then next game be cannon fodder? inGlish 2 hard bruv

EDIT: I may have slightly changed my mind. I remember playing with clanmates before and after a couple of brutal mercies, we had a three really tight games. First game we were getting mecied and somehow won. Lost then won. Even the loss felt quite good. Now, I guess my clanmates will destroy absolutely everyone. There may be a balance to be struck, but SBMM has problems.

2 commentairesPro-SBMM people: "I'm shit at PvP, so I expect everyone to be forced to play under SBMM because Comp, Rumble, and IB are boring and not enough for me". Pro-CBMM people: "I'm fine with some gamemodes having SBMM but also want casual ones to have CBMM. Let's allow people to choose w/e mode they're in the mood to play at any given time". Granting the freedom to choose between SBMM/CBMM makes more sense than forcing SBMM down everyone's throat.

Someone else pointed out how you’re doing better post SBMM removal. Very interesting.
