Sunsetting weapons is a bad band aid for the problem they're trying to fix if there really even is a problem. Bungie doesn't respect or care about the time people put into this game. Otherwise they wouldn't be trying to make people do 9,000,000 public events, and making content obsolete. I hope they go threw with it and people start leaving the game again cause this is as bad an idea as the double primary thing they did for D2 year one.

You don't have to do 9 million public events. It tracks players, not the actual event.

I know that I'm not dumb, but as a community 9,000,000 was and is a crap ton. And they knew it otherwise they wouldn't have moved so fast. It shouldn't have been something that needed addressing in the first place, but you missed the point of my statement anyway.

If you knew why say 'made the community do 9,000,000 public events' ? It was never that number from the start and was always the amount of players completing the events. 9 players doing 1 event counted as 9 and not 1.
