Was farming forges and had a hunter go out of their way to throw batteries to me mid my slam melee so i would just either stop or slap myself into the ground almost dying.

[/quote] It is possible that those players could be saying the same about you. Maybe they thought you were taking their kills, although no enemies belong to a single guardian. You can’t automatically assume they did it because you’re a Hunter, they could of been doing it for the sake of farming laurels for themselves. I’ve had all classes do this to me this week, and it’s just them getting their laurels. We all benefit from enemies dropping laurels. Now actual harassment in the game, messages or constant annoyances, I can see being a problem. That’s just out of line to message someone something nasty based on what class they choose to use.

I never said I was on my hunter when I was doing the "farming" (i wasn't) ....I'll expand further however, i went to moon's seraph tower and started the event - there were no other guardians there. I was farming the kills in the area where the "normal" public event would be. After a while a couple joined and were doing the plates as well as farming. There was a warlock who joined me at my farming spot and we were taking turns with nades and supers. Whoever was wanting to have a go would get in front of the other and back off once they're done so they other has the next "batch". The two i mentioned previously, were just running in and doing what they did for the sake of it. I paused to watch them and test my theory - there were ads everywhere and groups of them spawning at other "locations" completely untouched. I went to one of the other spawn "points" and lo and behold the titan followed me and started to do the exact same thing. They werent collecting laurels, they werent trying to defend the plates or throw the orbs, they were just being a nuisance for the sake of it. I never said anywhere on my post that ads belong to anyone, but its common sense and common courtesy to not be a numpty when you see that someone is doing something specific - same as when i went to farm EP on Mars, as I spawned in a warlock started off the event, I chilled back until he was done with his nades and super and as he moved away, i "farmed" what was left of the ads. My previous comment was an example of pissy behaviour which has been magnified because of all the GG malarkey - where every class behaved like an absolute numpty. I would class myself as a Hunter main, but i also absolutely enjoy using my Titan and Warlock but it can be quite entertaining to see someone behave a certain way towards a character youre using - especially if the individual does not have all 3 and essentially appears to assume that you main the character you're on at the time, because that's what they do themselves. 🤷🏼

Situation is the same regardless of class. You assumed they acted that way based off your class, since you had to specify which classes you were on and what they were on. This is just pure assumptions. You were in a [b]public[/b] event, and they were killing enemies. You bringing it up as some sort of issue is making me believe you do feel as if those enemies spawning were yours only.
