They already said they had no plans to bring them back.

They did. They just changed the name to Guardian Games. But took out all the loot, put it into Eververse, and teased us with a exotic. That we have to grind just to unlock triumphs to get. They're just going to put it in the loot pool after. Just like they always do.

Yeah and they also said that static rolls on gear was a good thing.

I thought it was good. It made the game a lot more casual.
