May not be you specifically, but 99% of the community:
1. Didn't contribute to the puzzle.
2. Did nothing but copy the solution at the end.
3. Gets free exotic quest. ("Free" as in they did nothing to earn it.)
4. "THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!"
Wow.

F^%$ "community quests". I mean why do I care how anyone else plays this game. Just give me a quest that I can do, a puzzle that I can figure out and feel good about figuring out, and let me play "my game" and you can play yours. To boot, this puzzle was BORING to do, even the final run through was BORING, complete BS.

Did nothing to earn it? lmfao imagine being such a tryhard gamer that you think video games should require hard work. Now excuse me while I go play Sekiro
-
Now THAT'S a game where you work for shit. Also, "I see you're a man of culture as well."

Wow.
This 100% People be wanting something epic for someone elses hard work then complain they didnt get their "participation trophy" when they did nothing in the first place
-
Last night a lot of the ones commenting (just now got a break from work and checking up on things) were part of the teams working on it. Yeah, there's more people that did nothing and get an exotic quest. That's whatever to me. I'm pissed (like everyone else that worked on it) because the reward was no where near the effort.
-
Modifié par Wes : 1/20/2020 5:08:33 PMWell the guys who put forth all the effort have every right to complain. They put in the work. They didn't get a free A from copying their friend's exam. My comment is geared more towards the people who did nothing and still complained on their own behalf. That doesn't seem to be you, so great. If you're complaining on behalf of the people who DID work, complain away.
-
God you are ignorant. All your points are totally wrong.
-
Really. Because he pretty much nailed my level of participation. Only I was actually grateful at the end of the day for the work other put into it. I know. Shocking....
-
I mean, they're not. But go on. You do you.
-
What? So its wrong that people are more grown up than others and knew this was time gated and definitely for bastion and all we had to do was wait? The unacceptable part is the community doing what they do EVERY time theres a quest. Gladd and whoever are great but all they do is create hype when there should be none. Now we get to not play or be bored till the next quest. Can you guess how the community will react to it?
-
People spent days working on it. This could possibly hurt there health. Not sure if you knew that. Now bungie was lazy and didnt make a hidden quest fir this season and put a known exotic at the end
-
People, should grow up. If you want to kill yourself by sitting on your ass for a week straight, thats no ones fault but yours. Jesus you must be a millenial if you think what you just said is right.
-
Not all millennials are like how you make them out to be. You aren’t understanding most of the people who did the work are streamers and making content from games is there livelihood. As well they want to enjoy the games they play (like everyone else). But they worked hard to discover a new weapon that was hidden behind a puzzle that took them a week to work on. You simply just aren’t understanding. You are like a baby boomer from who cant understand games at all and how people feel about them
-
Modifié par Nihilus247 : 1/20/2020 1:55:10 PM1. I would bet my last wage that the majority complaining did not contribute to the puzzle in any meaningful way 2. A person who chooses to be a moron and go without sleep for 20 hours, despite Bungie suggesting they rest, deserves their health problems and hopefully it is terminal. 3. The quest WAS a hidden quest. It's the reward that was not hidden.
-
The quest (bastion) was known to everyone. Everyone thought it was coming out on the 28th as the roadmap says. But guess what, i guess we cant even trust the roadmap. And only 1 guy was saying they should get sleep, and its the nicest guy at bungie (imo). So dont get all defensive that the were lazy and put a quest that everyone knew about at the end of a puzzle people worked day and night on for a week.
-
Modifié par Nihilus247 : 1/20/2020 2:24:56 PMGet a grip of yourself. I am not being defensive in the slightest. The "one guy" is the guy employed to represent Bungie to the community. Secondly, the quest was not known, it's turns out it was the reward that was known.
-
Modifié par Gilgamesh : 1/20/2020 2:52:08 PMThe quest was known. Why do you keep saying it isnt. It was on reddit (datamined) before it was found ingame. And just because someone is employed to a company does not mean they are forced to send out tweets, he sent those out on his own will concerning about the streamers health. All the bungie account did (or it was the destiny account i cant remember) said was “this is a marathon, not a sprint”
-
No. The parts of the Bastion quest that were datamined were from now on. The Corridors of time was not known as the precursor to the start of the exotic quest. Secondly, if you are right then it makes the people complaining that the reward for the maze puzzle was disappointing even bigger idiots because they should have known that Bastion was the reward??!
-
Your logic makes no sense. FYI bastions quest is given after you reach the final code. So there is no connection. In fact it says you start the quest by going to saint-14. Cool your jets you aren’t right here. You are just blaming the community. Did bungie hire you ti defend this puzzle (puzzles were what make destiny exciting if this is bungies idea of puzzles i pray for the future).
-
You are correct. My logic makes no sense to you. I am glad you have admitted to that. I was wondering how long it was going to take you to trot out that tired "Bungie fanboy/ employed by Bungie" garbage. You did not disappoint.
-
Modifié par Gilgamesh : 1/20/2020 3:08:36 PMIts not tired out because its not something to make fun of people for. Its known that people who defend this game are people who fan over this game and just want to play it. They do not care about the quality content that goes into it. They do not care about what the developers do to it. But players like me and all the others talking about this quest really care for the game and need to call out the developers when something like this happens (this shouldn’t have happened it was obvious they ruined puzzles for destiny by doing something like this). Say whatever you want but your logic only applies to you anyone reading these fourms will not have a clue what your logic means.
-
Oh look, we have the new community manager in the forum's speaking on everyone's behalf. Now, go away and take your imaginary "rest of the community that agrees with you" with you. I do not agree with you, I will not agree with you and you are not going to change my mind to your illogical way of thinking. Goodbye.
-
Modifié par Gilgamesh : 1/20/2020 3:14:23 PMNever said you did. Never said the community. Not trying to be offensive but tell me your first language i will happily use google translate so you may understand what im saying

Are you not gone yet???
