With all the changes in game with armour and weapons the vault is rediculuse. If a player has all three characters there isn’t enough space to collect good weapons and armour is no good At least allow us to separate the vault in to three characters would be really good . Allows us to collect armour sets of different types on all characters and not like now 500 space for everything it needs to be separate at least per character to allow us if we want to collect. I really don’t like scrapping everything all the time. After each season all I end up left with is really weapons I can’t keep armour because I have so many good weapons I just love to use . Please consider some changes I know we used to only get 100 I think looking back I don’t know how I did it lol

3 commentairesModifié par Vork : 1/8/2020 4:48:06 AMI agree vault space is a problem not matter how much space they give us. I think a good solution would be to update how collections works. WEAPONS Maybe you once you get a good roll you can pay glimmer to make that your default roll in collections. That will allow you to delete all your good/GOD rolls you are holding on to "just incase" like I currently am. ARMOR Same goes for armor pieces, but for armor the affinity is sort of a problem. They just need to remove affinity that way you don't need 3 sets per character. EDIT I created a separate thread for my collections idea here https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/254886749?sort=0&page=0

1 commentaireModifié par Guardian6235 : 1/7/2020 5:14:01 PMI AM NOT DELETING MY DEAD ORBIT, FWC, or the forgettable other groups ARMOR. I did that once and suddenly it became pertinent again so I had to collect them all again for my hunter, warlock, titan... The moment I delete them, faction wars will return lol. I am constantly deleting little armors or weapon I am not using here an there to make space as I am always hovering around 480-490 full... I dont understand why they can add new weapons and armor but leave the vault space at an abysmal 500. Its been 500 since Black Armory and there has been 4 additional seasons since then with new gear and weapons!!!!

1 commentaireModifié par Cinderchar : 1/7/2020 4:49:49 PMNo. Bungie instead just need to give us a way to change affinities, upgrade or reallocate stats, and to be able to reroll perks. Hoarding a bunch of trash you hope will one day be treasure is not the answer.

1 commentaireModifié par Corrick II : 1/7/2020 4:11:08 PMThis is a tough one. While I’ve always been an advocate for living simply without too much “stuff” in the vault, I have to look at the other side of the coin. Destiny is a “collecting” game, and with Armor 2.0 literally tripling the number of possibly loadouts we could put together, it does seem a little strange that nothing has been done about Vault space. I think you can still do it with 500, but does Bungie really want to force us to make choices that might needlessly annoy us, given the general attitude of the community at the moment.

Modifié par GrifterDeMier01 : 1/7/2020 3:53:10 PMI had tons of useless shit sitting in my vault for over a year and finally got around to deleting a lot of it. Most of it was massive stacks of shader, some of them 700-800 that took me 15-20 minutes to delete one by one. (Watch Bungie add in a delete all feature next week) It took me forever to delete all this stuff but now I have about 80 open slots that will probably fill up in a week or 2 lol. But now what sucks is every time I get shaders I have to delete them instead of just tossing them in my vault. So now I'm gunna have to spend an extra 10 minutes a day braking down even more stuff. Lol. This game has become a pretty decent deletion simulator.

[ insert obligatory patronization of what you should be doing because something is clearly wrong with you if you want to have more of what the game has to offer here] You do you, it's Y3, there should be an increase. Can't make load-outs for new exotic armor when there's no damn space for them
-
3 commentairesI’ll never understand how people have their whole 500 slots filled plus 80 slots per character filled. Am I playing this game wrong? lol. My inventory is empty, not one gun or gear. Everything I’ll ever need is on my characters.
-
I thought armor 2.0 would make me need less space. Nope. It makes me need more than ever.

2 commentairesAlthough I disagree with the vault space expansion, I do also think that collections shouldn't be limited as much as they are, with the whole "randomized items cannot be reclaimed" nonsense. It would be nice if you could recover any version of a weapon you've previously collected. Either that, or you can reclaim randomized weapons with hidden, locked perks, and you unlock the perks by killing enemies, and once they're unlocked they just roll to a random perk that can be assigned to that slot. They could even have some kind of unlocking service through Banshee, and actually give a decent use to the thousands upon thousands of Gunsmith Materials just sitting in our inventories. Speaking of inventories, they could up the stack limit on certain items. Why can I only have 25 Upgrade Modules? Why can I only have 20 Black Armory Schematics? Better yet, why can I only have 63 quests and bounties? Why is my Chalice of Opulence permanently taking up a space in my quest log?

1 commentaireEither make collections more viable... ie, deleting something and not being able to re acquire it. Or turn the majority of past sets into ornaments. That alone would free up a lot of vault space for me.

11 commentairesMost of the people saying vault space is "fine" are probably PvP mains that barely raid and are only interested in "meta" weapons and/or only play one character. This is a "looter" shooter. They keep adding stuff to the game but no place to keep it and no way to get it back in most cases. Now there's the FOMO!!! seasonal stuff where not only is there no new space to keep it and not only can you not "get it back," you can't even obtain it at all afterward. When I do 30-40 raids and keep the best of the best of the armor/weapon rolls for that raid, I don't really want to delete them, ever. The RNG in this game is terrible. You might have a 1/5000+ chance for a very specific roll from an unpopular out-of-date activity designed for 6 people. If they fixed collections so you could "store" a chosen role, that would help. If they made all armor ornaments, that would help. If they added re-rolling to weapons/armor that would help. Playing to earn loot you don't actually get to "have" is not fun. Google gives you 15GB storage for FREE. I doubt our character files take even 1/1000 of that on the Bungie servers and most of us pay for the game.

10 commentairesIf you find your bumping up against the 500 vault space limit, it might be time to start getting more selective about what you want to hang on to. I find that D2 Checklist has a good tool to compare weapon perks based on copies of the same weapon and by frame. It's generally also not worthwhile to hang on to most Year 2 armor, and any Armor 2.0 below a certain total.

6 commentairesIf you have not used or worn in the last 6 months then get rid of it. We have collections we do not need more space.

8 commentairesI play top 2% of all players. I have a vault full of near god roll weapons, every exotic both armour and weapon and plenty of armour I don't wear plus ships, sparrow and materials etc and still have about 100 slots open in the vault for more. Plenty of room if you manage it.
-
2 commentairesI'm no where full...I don't hold on to much stuff, didn't see the point. I never use it if it sits in there. I still don't get how you guys run out of space and feel the need to hold on to stuff so much lol

Vault space? There is literally only a handful of weapons that are good what could you possibly have in your vault And something is wrong with you if you are hoarding that much armor

Nah. 500 is more than enough space (not including the amount we can carry in our inventory already).

1 commentaireModifié par Amazinite : 1/6/2020 6:50:29 PMClean your vault. I clean mine at least every season and I never have issues with vault space, even when I’m shoveling trash into it for me to sort through later. E.g. I sent every weapon and armor drop from the Vex Offensive to my vault then chose one weapon of each type to keep and one set of armor to keep. If you have a weapon that’s similar to another weapon you use, get rid of one of them. You don’t need 4 different 450 RPM kinetic pulse rifles. The only reason you’d need multiple of the same weapon archetype is if each one has a unique roll. For example, I have a Trust and Optative. Both 180 RPM hand cannons, but the Trust has rampage while the Optative has demolitionist. But for the most part, I only have one weapon of each archetype. Delete anything you can pull from collections. I deleted all my old armor, and the only thing I still have in terms of stuff I can pull from collections are a few Leviathan raid weapons with elements you can’t get them in anymore. E.g. my Conspirator is arc and my Inaugural Address is solar. I also have the broken version of the Traveler’s Chosen and Last City Ghost Shell still. Especially if you already have most of the mods in the game and a good set of 2.0 armor, delete any Y2 armor. The only Y2 armor I’ve kept is each Gambit Prime set for my Warlock because I’m not grinding that shit again. I also have a few armor pieces with enhanced perks that I don’t have yet, e.g. enhanced ashes to assets, and perks that no longer exist, e.g. enhanced heavy lifting. Those are a minority of my armor pieces though, at most maybe 10 Y2 armor pieces (that aren’t the Gambit Prime sets). As far as 2.0 armor goes, either delete anything before a certain base stat total, or decide which stats you desire the most and delete anything without good stats in that regard. Personally I delete anything at 50 or below right now and anything where intellect and discipline add up to less than 20. As time goes on and I collect more armor, I’ll get more and more picky (e.g. change it to deleting anything <55 total and <25 int + dis) until I find a nearly perfect set. In that time though, I’m never filling my vault to the brim with armor because most of it is getting deleted. I cleaned out about a dozen weapons from my vault yesterday. Right now I’m sitting at 343/500, which I could definitely take lower by deleting some trash armor. I also keep a lot of stuff like Cayde’s coupon and notes and those diary entries from Warmind for sentimental value, but if worst comes to worst I can always delete those for more space.
I really dont like scrapping everything all the time
You problem. I shard every armour that doesnt have mobility/recovery. I cant stay from capped glimmer :/
