I got a naughty boy tisk tisk 7 day time out for the holidays for typing a music groups name recently.
While the nice ninja I spoke to after the hammer dropped never got back to me on the actual reasoning behind it, I am certain that particular words, made-up words, or possibly phrases will get you whacked, even if there was truly nothing offensive about the post or word.
On the bright side of this, I did get a nice vacation from typing into a meaningless vacuum. 😋

I agree. What doesn't make sense to me is there appears to be no way for the ninja team or moderation group to reverse automated or individualized judgements. At least, not without time consuming intervention. I suppose it's also possible they are limited by the tools or licenses they are given to police this space. Strangely enough, There are plenty of really awful offensive, rude, and harassing posts swarming around outside of off topic that absolutely need to be swatted down. But yet, nothing is ever done. I suspect a certain amount of discrimination exists within the shadows here towards particular thought processes and ideals that dont fit in with the common rhetoric. Nothing can be done of course. This is not an open forum and they obviously reserve the right to refuse service, even if you are wearing shoes and a shirt.
