Leave my Recluse alone Bungie
Don't nerf recluse. I know, it's over used, and considered OP, but hear me out. I've played destiny since to 2014 days. I've seen all my favorites get nerfed into dust. Things that just made the game fun. There's nothing wrong with a sense of superiority. I've watched my hammer, spindle, whisper get reduced over and over. I had soooo much fun with shards of galanor, and now I haven't touched Blade Barrage since that subclass and exotic got absolutely obliterated to disrespectful levels, but you know what I kept pushing forward. Let me have my recluse. It doesn't break the raid like Izanagis or like gjallarhorn used to be. I love slaughtering mass amounts adds with my recluse. It's fun to me. You want people using other things? Throw master of arms in to the roll pool for other weapons. A master of arms shotty would be cool. I master of arms cluster rocket could be interesting, but leave my submachine gun alone. Let me have fun.

46 commentairesWhen a single weapon far invalidates every other option in slot there is a glaring issue with balance. You’ve played since D1. You remember Gjallarhorn obviously. Recluse is the D2 Gjallarhorn.

Recluse is overtuned and needs balanced. If we balanced based off of "this is my favorite gun" then we'd have an awful sandbox. These posts are partially bungies fault, if they didn't take a year at minimum to address over tuned items, people wouldn't get so attached to them and used to crutching on them so they wouldn't whine when bungie balances them.

I kinda like how strong it is. Reminds me of the days in gaming where you could unlock that "one" secret weapon, like the rocket launcher in RE1. Yeah...anyways, nerf fusion rifles.

Most people complaint because of mountain top and recluse combo in pvp. Thats what its pretty much why there asking to nerf the gun. But if they turn all the Pinnacle weapons into exotics, there won't be a mountain top recluse combo anymore.

On one hand I'm like -blam!- it, nerf it because people using it want fusions nerfed, on the other hand... I'm now asking for a nerf yet I think the game could benefit from having op guns like it. .... Nerf dat -blam!- bungie 😈

It’s fun but it’s broken and a nerf wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen. Buffing other weapons won’t stop recluse from being the best weapon to chose.

Balance idea... make it exotic.. Have master of arms proc on precision primary kills and it can’t be refreshed by kills from the recluse... Lower body shot damage but increase head shot damage so it creates a skill gap

2 commentairesI'm kind of torn on Recluse to whether it should be nerfed or not, for PvE its fine as is. But for PvP its a bit strange because if I die to recluse usually I have noticed in my experience its about the same range as getting killed by a shotgun. But in PvP I don't tend to use it often because there is other weapons you can use and it only really pairs well with other certain weapons where you can get a kill then switch. Recluse has already been sorta nerfed with the fix to richochet rounds, so I kinda think that there is no way to go about adjusting it without it undermining the people who earned it.

Izanagis only dishes out nasty damage when uaing the perk, which consumes up to [u]four[/u] [b]SPECIAL[/b] ammo and Whisper is a [b]HEAVY[/b] (that also got nerfed hard recently). Plus, they are both exotic. Recluse is a [b]PRIMARY[/b] with a perkset that enables it to deal damage somewhat comparable, except it has a lot better access to ammo [b]AND[/b] it's a legendary weapon, meaning you can use an exotic alongside if you so choose. It needs to be nerfed because it breaks the game in so many ways and it needed it half a year ago...

Nope it gets levels of damage like rampage and you will now need to stack 3 to get the damage of your current master at arms.
