What games do you look forward to in the future?
My most memorable experiences include, me and my brother playing every halo campaign since halo 3 (except for halo 5) when we were little. Titanfall 2's campaign. Getting the good ending in hollow knight (the game got me addicted to challenge).
For games I'm hoping for, hollow knight silksong, and possibly ori and the will of the wisps (game looks good and the combat looks a lot more interesting).

4 commentairesWell for boss fights, I really enjoyed fighting [REDACTED], the [REDACTED] Jumpscare and then proceeding Boss Music in [REDACTED] was excellent. [REDACTED] had an excellent theme, and an awesome fight location. Of course, he doesn’t hold a candle to [REDACTED] in terms of grandeur. Kinda wish the final boss fight with the [REDACTED] of [REDACTED] was harder, but cool nonetheless. Some of my proudest moments where when I completed the [REDACTED][REDACTED] to get [REDACTED], I completed [REDACTED] solo, and completed the similar [REDACTED] with randoms. I haven’t completed any [REDACTED]’s though, as I am a solo player. I’m also pretty proud of myself for 100%ing all of the LEGO Star Wars games except The Force Awakens, Getting all the trophies in PS4 Battlefront 2 (2017), and for getting up to the lunatic Cultist boss in Normal Terraria (me and my friend recently started a new world on Expert mode using the stuff we got on the previous world so we can get all the expert mode items and the pride and accomplishment of killing the bosses in that mode. It’s pretty tough)
And yes, [REDACTED] is stuff from Density. I won’t say them because SOME people hate it when I even mention Density.
Halo 3 two for one achievement. KOTH on Construct. Nail a guy with the laser who's on the hill in mid and at the exact perfect moment someone else just happened to be going up gold lift. Yes, I did get a rage message from the gold lift guy. First 50 too was another one. Nothing about the game itself, just the feeling of finally getting it done. First DPUH drop in bl2 got me hype as -blam!- Back in ME3 multiplayer myself and a couple friends used the unlimited rockets glitch, which despite like 3 or 4 patches never got fixed only its setup was changed, to do a platinum clear in 7:15. We later found out that on the 360 that run is/was a world record.

1 commentaireModifié par ABackSeatDriver : 10/23/2019 4:34:59 AMWay back when,...
...Me and my cousin were playing Twisted Metal II and having a blast. He was playing as Worthog and I was playing as Minion. We were playing through the story line co-op on the hardest difficulty and just demolishing everything, tons of fun. We get to the last boss, Dark Tooth, and we get wrecked. We had to change tactics. We tried to fight him together, side-by-side, and we lost. We tried to fight him in the central building where it's confined with lots of power ups, bad idea. So we began trying bait-n-switch, where one of us baits him to follow while the other sits nearby to ambush him with a special/power attack. Seems to work, so long as neither one of us dies. So here we are taking turns baiting this behemoth for the other to take a shot at him. So here I am waiting around the corner just in front of the central building's entrance with Minion's special attack ready. My cousin goes out and fires a volley of rockets at Dark Tooth. My cousin drives towards the boss firing everything he's got, I'm staying put because of the plan. I hear guns firing, explosions, Dark Tooth laughing, engines revving. Then suddenly my cousin hauls ass into the building with a very large bomb rolling after him. Some more explosions and gunfire noises. I'm motionless. My cousin comes flying out firing his guns and rockets at the enormous boss just around the corner. Not one second after I lose sight of my cousin going back down the street at the intersection in front of me, here comes Dark Tooth making a huge u-turn to chase after my cousin. All of this happened within a span of a few minutes. I almost forgot to launch my surprise attack on the boss because I was still trying to process what I just witnessed. I storm out and hit him with my special which deals a hefty amount of damage but also freezes him in place. We unload all we have at the behemoth and just before the ice gives out we split to stock up on power ups and health. We ended up defeating him and beating the game, but the best part was witnessing the sheer awesomeness that unfolded in that one moment. I wish I had it recorded.
3 commentairesTrials of osiris. Me and two friends load into a match. We lose the first four rounds badly, the enemies start bagging on the 2nd or 3rd. We win 3 rounds by some magic. On the 8th rounds someone pops a golden gun to try to counter my arc blade. I beat them and my team cheers, I get a rez because I'm the last man standing. We take another one down, the enemy gets a rez, and they kill us both. Team mate uses self rez and gets a rez, other teammate freaks the fuck out. We win that round and next round. Victory is ours and we vigorously bag the enemy.

Modifié par CAMMAX008 : 10/23/2019 3:02:44 PMActually being able to play Mario kart Wii and Mario. (Took me years to git gud, I played when I was quite young but was never very good compared to my friends or older brother) When I was little, my brother (7 years older) had friends around and he went to the toilet, so I picked up his controller and killed his friend on a game I'd never played because I wasn't allowed to (I think halo? maybe CoD?) but tbh thinking about it they probably let me kill them. Finishing Smash Bros. Brawl's subspace emissary. Picking Oshawott in Pokémon white (my first Pokémon game) Warning-Desticle:
Omnigul's screams😱
Playing Raw Data VR at Odeon IMAX VR, it felt amazing and I now feel as if I desperately need a good headset as soon as they become affordable and I get a pc in the future.
in chronological order for all you stalkers out there👍
In the future I can't wait to see what happens with vr and Desticle inbound:
wonder if there'll be a D3? Or how long D2 will last
Competitive gaming. Being at an event and actually competing was a rush I'll never forget every single time. Walking/swimming from Teldrassil to Orgrimmar in the WoW beta back in 2003 with my brother. My mother willing to be late for work and letting me be late for school because we were the closest we'd ever been to completing a game on the SNES.

Modifié par IMADAJ : 10/23/2019 10:11:33 AMBack in the 80’s my mother and aunt would leave us kids with fist fulls of quarters to play in the arcade for hours to keep us occupied while they shopped the mall. There would be a periodic scavenger hunt to find them if we ran out of money.

Beating wrath of the machine in D1, it was so fun and was a amazing experience and being with people who knew what to do (like everyone knew what to do and down to the details too) made it so much easier, the only real part we struggled on was siege machine, the rest we beat in no more then 3 attempts If raid banners was a thing in D1, it woulda made siege machine SOOO much easier (we was doing the glitch where you pick up the parts as soon as your super ended so you'd have the normal walk speed and for clearing ad's) but still, it was a fun experience and I got an auto rifle, a shotgun, a rocket launcher (people say it's bad though) and a hunter cloak which looks totally badass

Modifié par ThyLordIntrovert : 10/23/2019 4:49:34 AMSpearheading a jump assault, Warhammer 40K: eternal crusade
Mission was to capture a fortress, we’d fought our war into the keep but hit a stalemate once we were inside, the final objective was within reach but we couldn’t get past the heavy weapons the chaos space marines had on the balconys overlooking us, anyone who was lucky enough to get past was quickly taken down either by a chainsword or bolter. So I decide to put together a squad purely of assault marines with jump packs, we move as close as possible then all at once fire our jump packs and find ourselves overlooking the aforementioned heavy weapons. I dropped a frag grenade then slammed into the enemy line stunning them and jumping away right as the grenade detonated, outright killing several of the havocs, before they could recover I slammed into them again and cut down another wounded havoc before parrying a strike and killing an aspiring sorcerer with my power sword With nothing left alive immediately around me I took a moment to survey the situation, my squad mates had equal success on the points in the line they’d hit and we’d cleared the balcony
1 commentaireThis one is up there. I was talking with a friend about how my dad also plays Halo 2, and while searching we ended up getting matched in the same game with him. I really treasure that silly little memory.

Modifié par Dagoth Tokodia : 10/23/2019 3:40:46 AMGravemind on legendary...
6 hours in the last room wasted by forgetting a grunt
EDIT: I almost forgot about my first run of Oryx and the satisfaction of killing him (my first run was a lfg for King's Fall Hard mode with Oryx challenge) and of course the first time I encountered that wood elf -blam!- in the Temple area of Mournhold in Morrowind's Tribunal Expansion

So... Burning Crusade and Wrath. Good times. Part of what was cool about that is it was uh.... shared experience I guess. An IRL friend and I were totally partners in crime. But I did stop short of running a druid in 2's. Anyway. I had brought my laptop over to his one day. On one of the breaks were sitting there shooting the shit at one point and he goes "what if you summon a hulking abomination and immediately hearth out"? Well the shit de-rezzes when you leave the quest area, ya? Of course he instantly proves me wrong by summoning the thing and bringing it to Dal. Duration runs out and I'm off to get me one of those quest items so I can mess with this thing. Turns out one of the abilities the thing has is a M A S S I V E AREA OF EFFECT KNOCKBACK. MASSIVE. Instantly the gears start turning. How long exactly do I have with this thing? What sort of penetration can we get here? Are people gonna think it's weird that I'm running around with a Hulling Abomination in a major city? Like clearly this is a bug. Fast forward an hour and a half of me just messing with different pathing. I'd figured it out. We just needed some good bait. I have no idea what he said to get people positioned but it was pretty perfect in retrospect. He gives me the green light. I summon this thing and hearth out. Load in. Book it To Krasus' M.F. Landing. For the uninitiated, Krasus landing was where you landed the flying mount if you didn't have city flight or whatever the perk was. The landing is a semicircle type open air courtyard. A portion of the landing, the edge was just protected by a pretty low wall. Dalaran is a floating city by the way. That's actually a real relevant point. Floating city. Pretty up there. This mother-blam!-er had convinced a BUNCH of people to be up on top of the wall mini parapet thing and just generally pretty close to the edge. So here I am running in like Leroy with this abomination in tow. I gets just close enough and mash the button to detonate. Abomination explodes. So many people got knocked over the edge to their death. Also salty about repair bills. But repairs are like Thanos. Inevitable. Anywho, killing non hostiles in a major city is like... super frowned upon. So I'm surprised nobody got a time out. Character names float above the model, and he was in /2 doing whatever he did. Pretty open and shut case. All that really happened is that there was a forum post about the event, and it had been hot fixed a couple days after (ask me how I know). But yeah. That's the story of how we Aloha Snackbar'd Daalaran.
TLDR Discovered a buggy quest item that let you summon a minion. Minion has ability to explode and do massive AOE stuff. Use massive AOE knockback to hatch terror plot in World of Warcraft.
Low-manning Dynamis runs as tank/DPS in FFXI. First time i got 120 stars on a Mario 64 profile. Slapping Sephiroth 11 times in a row in KH. Doing all missions in Nightmare mode in Dynasty Warriors 6. (NEVER try this.) Getting to General rank in CoD3. Finishing CoD:WaW campaign on Veteran. (Try it, i dare you.) Having like a 5K/D ratio in Rainbow 6: Vegas. Killing apache pilots in BF2 thru the cockpit with an AK. I be like "Allahu Akbar, -blam!-." Had an 80+ kill score in a ranked CoD3 conquest match. Went like 200 kills in a custom match in CoD3. Was duking it out with the opposing team's lead player. Guess he took it seriously. So i did to. Thats all i got.

Got a few. Black Ops 1: Playing with my friend who’s downed on a dog round in zombies, meanwhile I’m cornered. Managed to somehow survive without moving just knifing & shotgunning. Destiny 2: First time clearing Leviathan, also the disgusting meatball & killing Uldren at the end of Forsaken. Injustice 2: Finally beating Braniac in Story Mode (-blam!- you Braniac)

Most memorable scripted moment; Spoilers for BlazBlue: Central Fiction.
When Ragna stole Rachel’s dream near the end of the story. That’s probably the moment in any game that’s made me cry the most. After Rachel passes out, and gets picked up by Valkenhein, there’s this still screen of Ragna walking away, with the sound of footsteps in the background. I sat there for a few good minutes, in silence. Of course, explaining what “stealing Rachel’s dream” even means is very complicated, and would take way too long to explain.
Most memorable non-scripted moment; Bubba was the name of one of my security drones in BioShock 2. Bubba was great. He was shooting down enemies no problem, and stuck with me for the whole level. Then, we reached the boss, and Bubba was gone! I could only assume he was killed by the boss’ underlings! I avenged him by taking down all of them in return! As I was mourning, though, Bubba came back! And I was overjoyed! He apparently hadn’t died! But then the room began to flood.. I would be fine, thanks to my heavy armor, but Bubba would drown! I told him to run, to fly back into a security hatch, but he refused to leave my side! Rest in peace, Bubba. ;-;
