I would love to run Cosmodrome with the Mountaintop in Kinetic and Ghallarhorn in the Power Slots.

I think even if we got the Cosmodrome back, I'd hate playing in it. I hated the SIVA version, I wish we could go back to the ORIGINAL version with the OST and everything

Correct, but how would they fix all that and still make it a convincing story? Cosmodrome is on quarantine because of SIVA, and even though it's not a "threat", the effects are still seen. The Plaguelands spread all the way to the Rocketyard, and the Divide, but in D1, the Cosmodrome is blocked off. I still imagine the same effects are seen though

The cosmodrome is what now???? you could always return to the original version what on earth are you talking about?

In Destiny 1, you can return to the original, yes. However, in D2, during the Thunderlord quest, you return to the Plaguelands, which is in the Cosmodrome, and is also mentioned in both D1 and D2 as quarantined. Yes, if you did Patrol on the regular Cosmodrome, cool, but if we merged D1 and D2, Bungie would take the Plaguelands since it's the more recent version of the Cosmodrome (As seen in Thunderlord quest), which would be the issue. I think, content wise, there's no reason that we haven't reclaimed the old Tower yet, and cleaned up the Plaguelands. If SIVA is no longer a prominent threat, then it shouldn't be much of a problem cleaning it up. If that doesn't work for ya, then we can just keep the Plaguelands quarantined, and open up the original Cosmodrome (this only makes sense because the original Cosmodrome is blocked off in the Plaguelands version of Patrol) but logically, there's no reason as to how SIVA hasn't infected the Cosmodrome yet, except for the fact that the House of Devils is the only Fallen you'll see the closer you get the the main Cosmodrome.
