Raids are the best content in the game.
It’s not Bungie’s fault that the general population is too stupid and/or lazy to figure out the game mechanics.

The mechanics just plain are. Take it from someone whose taught 58 people through LW. People can do them. Finding a group these days really isn’t that hard. But, at the end of the day, people just don’t like doing the mechanics even if they can. It’s not satisfying, or fun to everyone like it is to me.

[/quote]Except reckoning is a pure example of how even a single mechanic is too hard for average players, hell people complain all the time about strike or pvp randos. Menagire normal mode only gets completed because there is no way to possibly fail. If average players are so bad in those easy to do activites it's no wonder they dont have the skill to run raids.

Are there mechanics in Reckoning? Lol, its run to the middle of each platform and hold it. Mechanics isnt the problem in Reckoning, its the constant boss stomp mechanics and no loot drops. Reckoning is going to become every elitist new excuse for some new dumb argument.

You needing to stand on a plate and kill the mini bosses quickly plus a mechanic at the boss are all mechanics yes And seeing as randoms cant even do that asking for raid mm is beyond ridiculous. I repeat: if you have enough time to throw hours upon hours at a matchmade raid group failing and willing galore you had more then enough time to find a suitable lfg group and stand a far better chance at success

The reason for the failure of matchmaking has nothing to do with mechanics. It's the failure of how punishing the content is and the fact of low drop rates, and timer thats doesnt give enough to complete each section fairly, which gives players no incentive to run the content loop. So what you get is bad matchmaking due to low player base to play the content and if you dont have a solar warlock or a tether hunter, you can easily fail the content. The Reckoning wasnt well thought out by the Developers. To make matters worse, Bungie nerfed the exotic armors and made no changes to the content which heavily relies on those exotics or a good team to complete it at Tier 3. The Reckoning can be salvaged, by changing the timer with more time. Boss stomp mechanics need to be toned down or allow players to stun those enemies. Plus the loot drops must either have bounties or a higher loot drop rate. Its like Bungie saw what Anthem did to their game and doubled down on the Reckoning and saw the player base just ignore the content altogether.

The Reckoning is fine. People need to learn that loadouts matter. Running two auto rifles and a rocket launcher with Stormtrance won’t cut it. No super is great in every mode and weapon loadouts need to have some symbiosis.

I'm not lazy but I totally don't care if you are or anyone is. See that is the problem, they care about this stuff too much... forgetting the fact that.... THIS IS A GAME AND MEANT TO BE FUN........................................
