Title
Edit: I understand that Bungie has put a large amount of their team on D3, something which I honestly believe to be a smart idea. However, they need to put a bit more effort into D2 right now as it is their current game. If people didn’t enjoy D2 how do you think they’d feel about D3? With this in mind, D2 needs a bit more support. But... if they were to keep working on D3 I wouldn’t have a problem. With all the leaks I’ve heard, it’ll probably be pretty dope.
Stay fresh dumb mfssss

88 commentairesThe level of ego behind this statement. I honestly can't imagine what goes on in people's mind that make these statements. What kind of person are you to talk about a field you know nothing about? It doesn't take a Albert Einstein to actually look at the video game industry as a whole and realize bungie is actually still one of the good ones. The people at fortnite are being worked to the bone to the point they can't even take weekends off. The same news was spreading about red dead redemption 2 how there was a period of insane hours, and that game took like what 8 years to develop? Not to mention their online is still in beta and has microtransactions. Ea recently fired a crap ton of their employees , some from the blizzard department too. Fallout 76. The balls it takes to make a statement like this when bungie is updating the game constantly within a year, working on a completely different IP, and on destiny 3 while also developing content for d2 and now they don't have a publisher anymore. ALL THESE FACTS presented to ypu. with 0 knowledge about game development and people like you will still be arrogant to the point were you play their games (or not) and still come on here to talk shit. I'm all for constructive feedback but this is a low. You should be removed from the forums all together.

1 commentaireTrying hard enough!? How about a try at all?

Modifié par Yura Dumaz : 5/2/2019 12:36:51 AMFranchise is shart and will continue to decline. Get off the boat while you can.

Never should have switched from D1. Wasn’t the 10 year dynasty they promised and now pvp in D2 is terrible. I deleted it, if I want to get my jollies I play D1. Never playing D2 again
-
hard enough is an overstatement. i wish they would just try at all.
-
I don't think they're trying at all. They have something they want to announce "soonish" but I don't think they're working on this game at all anymore. Or at least not on anything that's already been announced.
-
Wait until fall when they try to hype up another season pass. I look for that to be their wakeup call.

1 commentaireThey're actively ignoring the community. Literally every gamer and journalist: "remove enchantment cores" Bungie: "no *insert 30 bs reasons*". *Players leave, staff leave, Activision leaves* Bungie: "wHy Is ThIs HaPpEnInG"

1 commentaireModifié par Crota bin Oryx : 5/1/2019 2:23:49 PMPeople who say that Bungie should put their time in D3 at the expense of D2 have forgotten: - D1 towards end of its life had same issue and we lost a good game for bad one. - Bungie has not demonstrated that they can make improvements at industry pace. - D3 is hype when D2 is real. Investment in D2 might secure D3 sales even at the expense of delays. - we have paid for, yet to be released content, on D2 and got something which does not boast confidence in the future of products from Bungie For most of the part, D2 can be replaced with D1 and D3 with D2 and replay the old hype. However, D1 was ending at a good state whereas D2 is not even close. Tldr Fix what I paid for before selling me new 💩

1 commentaireSomething ain't right if over 20 of my friends stopped playing in the last year and a half. Haven't completed a raid since Warmind and I don't trust anyone easily in this community. I'm staying away from LFG. Too much bs to tolerate. As the numbers dwindled over the past few weeks, I found little interest to keep playing. Damn shame, I want this game to succeed but it looks bleak at best.

7 commentairesI think they twist and warp player feedback on possible changes into their own changes that either aren’t satisfying or don’t really work. They also rely far too much on RNG to cover up on having to make more content. Feels like they didn’t really learn much from D1. Why aren’t factions back like they were in D1? Why hasn’t year 1 gear been brought forward? Why can’t I pick between a weapon or armor package like I could in D1? Why is all the armor so damn ugly in D2 compared to D1? These are just a few of the really frustrating things, that to my uneducated game development mind, don’t seem like big asks for this game.
-
As it stands I won't be buying d3 as D2 has been a disappointment (apart from forsaken expansion) I would like to see D2 brought forward and improved upon greatly now and have d3 take a back seat now because a lot of people are and were disappointed with what we got with d2. If they can turn around D2 and make it as it was supposed to be then people will wait for d3 Stop doing content drops and focus back on the story.
-
Bungie has been out of ideas for D2 for over a year. It was a bad decision to not have any story for all of 2019. Instead they plug in the same content, day vs night in the forest, same old event themes, same old planetary missions, same old enemies. That’s the problem with games like this that try and maintain content through multiple years. More games like Borderlands, Gears, and ME are needed, at least for me.

Modifié par barny_bum_fluff : 4/30/2019 6:19:29 AMI don’t know if its a case of them not trying hard enough but more so that they are incompetent

25 commentairesModifié par cooljoe757 : 5/1/2019 12:49:08 PMYou people on here defending Bungie and telling the OP to leave the game, let me ask you this: Of all of the exotic weapons/armor that you’ve collected, how many do you actually use? 20 or 30%? This is a prime example of just how half-assed this game is. Now, forsaken was an incredible leap in the right direction. I enjoyed that expansion A LOT. But how on earth do you NOT go back and retune those useless exotics? ALSO, these exotics and their incredibly lackluster perks also depict just how crappy the skill trees are. The perks on these exotics ARE THE SKILL TREES...or should be.
-
It’s a large part with splitting the dev team with the big studio and the live team. Live team either needs more people or needs to take some more coffee, changes are so slow...
-
That’s what they said about their team from destiny 1 to destiny 2, “the majority of our resources are being focused on d2”, and clearly they weren’t or those people were incompetent
-
[most of the D3 leaks are fake anyways. If any part of the bungie team is working on it, it’s a minuscule one as the rest is working on the next big dlc for D2 since they don’t have an activison-owned studio to help them out anymore.]

4 commentairesLook i understand Bungie makes mistakes but to be honest the game is(to me) still one of the best games out there. Bungie finally has the game all to themselves so we gotta wait and see their game to the complete max. Also please fix the armor it is really ugly and that is a fact all the way around.
-
1 commentaireThey are trying as hard as they can. They are just as burnt out of Destiny 2 as we are. They probably just cannot do any better.

I am of the opinion that Bungie employees do their best every day to do the job/tasks they are given. Maybe it's the way I was raised, but when [for example] I'm playing a game I defer to the developers as being competent at their job, unless I have good evidence to the contrary. What I see is a bunch of people [on these forums mostly] who are part of the gaming crowd that tends to be very, very toxic and salty when the game and/or developers do not perform to perceived standards. And, most of those standards are born out of being ignorant about everything that happens behind the scenes. And, when those standards aren't met, you all will go to great lengths and unlimited conspiracies rather than accept reality... Destiny [as well as many, many other games] is a game that is going to evolve over time. That's the way many games are built now. And, there are going to be many times when the developers break parts of the game and/or make decisions that aren't popular. For instance, Bungie creates Luna's Howl. They have intentions and reasons behind creating that weapon. All looks good to them until the players get their hands on it. Evolution does it's thing and Bungie has to consider adjustments [which may not be popular] to bring Luna's Howl back in line with what they want it to be - based upon how the players are using it. You also need to realize that until recently Bungie was hitched with Activision (for good or ill). They have an obligation to meet the desires of their partner(s). That's how the real world works. And, it wasn't until recently that Bungie essentially became sole owner of the reigns. We should exercise patience because we do not know at what point Destiny becomes solely Bungie's baby. In all likelihood, that won't be until the end of the current "cycle" which seems to be after the current Annual Pass expires. Personally, I am liking the [new] direction Destiny is taking because we aren't getting the usual cookie-cutter format of old with DLCs that we blow through in like a month and then we want more.
