No, it didnt. It was melting all types of pve bosses, including strikes and raids. Gambit isn't solely responsible and yet again, IT'S STILL WAY STRONGER THAN BEFORE IT'S LAST UPDATE.
-
yeah, okay buddy.
-
Machine guns and shotguns got nerf due to gambit, he’s not wrong.
-
First of all, Shotguns and Machine Guns were not nerfed because of gambit alone. They were changed because they were far too powerful in their respective PvE playlists. You could walk up to some bosses and absolutely melt them in a matter of seconds, completely removing any challenge that may have been implemented. On top of that, it is very likely that they were toned down in preparation for The Reckoning. Don’t just assume Gambit is the only reason for a nerf.
-
Ohh it’s not, they nerf bc of pvp too. And I’d rather go back to the days of rocket mc dickface icebreakering him from under steps than play any of this gambit or reckoning bs. Rather run Skolas, gambit just sucks and so does pvp in general which trickles to pve impacts.
-
..what are you on about? PvP had and has been a minor factor in some instances, but this change was to give players more variety in their PvE loadouts— rather than just hugging an IKELOS SG and Thunderlord/Whisper/Sleeper.
-
Shotguns got buffed you chungus.
-
Then nerfed
-
Shotguns in general are stronger now than they have ever been. The only archtype that is worse is rapidfires. Bungie didn't like how they were the go to strat for raid bosses, strike bosses, and Gambit. This was not a Gambit only change. You are out of touch.
-
It’s still a nerf, it’s not the players fault bungie doesn’t test things properly before implementing. We get use to something, have fun doing it and then get dumped on. I’m not complaining about difficulty in anyway, just sick and tired of nerfs.
-
So, so, so logical. Why do people insist on complaining JUST to complain?
-
I’m not sure, but I believe you are doing it right now. Thanks for visiting!
