*** Read the whole post I put some sick ideas towards the end - This is not a whiney rant *** CLARIFICATION - I'm suggesting that you get the motes needed to synthesize and bank before reckoning by PLAYING CRUCIBLE MATCHES (whether it be wins in any playlist or comp wins or whatever) *** ADDITION: If the PVP community is too against offering versions of our trials gear to people that didn't earn it in trials, let the motes only drop if you already had the year 1 gear or went flawless. OR just reintroduce the guns which anyone could have gotten via clan engrams. The title says it all. The Reckoning is in Unknown Space and is an event hosted by the Nine - bring back all the Trials gear and weapons with random rolls and add em to the loot pool. This will also encourage PVP players to play the game mode more. It's honestly a super fun horde mode, but needs rewards outside of things only relevant to gambit. Instead of dark motes, implement some dark consumable that drops after Crucible matches and add a synthesizer for them. This then gives players MORE CHOICES and DIFFERENT REASONS TO PLAY! 10/10 guardians would grind for a randomly rolled Cold Sweat, Long Walk, Purpose, Darkest Before, Sudden Death, Relentless, and more. Plus the gear was freakin awesome looking - and a majority of the community (especially PVE players) never got to get much of it. The participation gear and certain weapons could be rewards for Tiers 1 and 2, and then the flawless gear and other weapons could be for Tier 3 or by certain challenges within the event. **Maybe even let the Meatball from Gambit spawn and drop the weapons as curated masterworks with special perks. Thats just one idea but you see where I'm going. And by "special" I mean OP like magnificent howl. For example - The curated Cold Sweat (180 hand cannon) could have a unique perk called "Fight or Flight" that increases precision damage incrementally as you lose HP. (Get it? Cause cold sweats come from the body's response to stress, called the fight or flight response) ^ I just came up with that perk idea off the top of my head but it actually sounds dope lol. *EDIT: This could also be a dope way to improve Trials - if the way you got loot was from dark motes after wins and you then bring into the reckoning to drop the gear or weapons. Then the curated rolls with special perks I mentioned could be weekly rotating flawless rewards.
