You know what's worse, more then half the exotics in this game are not even worth acquiring. Knowing that, once again after how many times Bungie has to bring back D1 exotics just to keep some of the gamers interest. It's a temporary solution for a big problem in this game.
Hmm, here is an idea but don't tell Bungie this. Maybe, just maybe if this company actually created weapons that were unique like D1 weapons? It just might give gamers something to chase. I've been wondering if Bungie fired the original devs that created...

Touch of malice
Outbreak Prime
Black hammer, and many more weapons that had unique perks and designs, that worked well across the entire board that had that visual that gave gamers more of an incentive In wanting to run certain events to acquire them.

I completely understand that PvP needs it's adjustments as all games do that have PvP. There has to be a certain amount of balance. It's just the eay this sandbox goes about it a lot of the time isn't reasonable. An example would be knowing the maps for PvP wrer only created for 4v4. Knowing that, that alone will cause a few unnecessary nerfs. The solution? Create bigger maps because even spawn points are somewhat an issue as well.

When I came back to D1 to play ROI, I was like, WTH did this sandbox do to it. It was fun to use in y1 but about time it reached ROI it was screwed up. Just like how Bungie's sandbox literally destroyed Truth and people wonder why this sandbox cant learn to make things compete with one onther. Well, the Truth is right there.

I’m pretty sure it was the same people that designed the anarchy the 1k voices the Polaris lance, the jotunn, the izanagi’s burden, graviton lance, huckleberry, borealis, it’s not accurate to say all D2’s exotics aren’t good or unique, yes many exotics from D1 are superior but D2 has quite a few good ones

Maybe its time this company start putting some real effort. D2 weapons don't have unquie perks like some of D1 weapons. Yes, some are good but far and few in between vs D1 to most were good.

The best way to extend grind time is to dilute the exotic pool with useless exotics so that the "true" exotics are harder to acquire. They learned their lesson with Gjallahorn in D1...people will want things the more rare it is...people were grinding day and night for that rocket launcher. So now of course the best exotics will be buried underneath the useless crap. The fact is that theyve gone too far in D2...the grind feels impossible and people just give up

IMO it's how the in-game content was designed in D2 vs D1 that makes a would of difference. D1 had the grind, but it also had what D2 really doesn't have and that is repayable content. D1 gave gamers the incentive to want to run a lot of the content because what the content offered. It wasn't because just things like Ghorn, it was also D1 skill tree, the in-game menu that you did not need mods that are signed to specific gear, limiting what you can use in D2. Random rolls that actually improved your stats that you had more freedom to customize, not like D2 set stats. You also had a material, I forgot the name but you could reroll stats giving you more options. Then you have to look at the loot pool, like W.O.T.M. it offered Outbreak Prime quest, normal and hard mode gear, full raid weapons, weekly challenges that added more loot to the raid. The chest that there was a few of them that offered more ways to get other exotics. What does D2 raids offer vs D1 raids?

Bungie has never been consistent with the game so this mean things constantly change that at this point what does or doesn't go with the lore doesn't even matter anymore. I mean, the games story doesn't even tie into the base game. Its first were here, now we are there, wait, go back over there. Nope, stay here, no maybe go over there. What the game is and the lore says are two totally different things. As far as Black hammer? I wasn't referring to this company to keep reskinning weapons and bringing them back. I was referring to them use their head for ones and create unique weapons like that but use their imagination and try to take it further. I mean, Bungie thinks primary ammo finders is a "must have". That's how far gone this company actually is.
