I for the longest time after destiny 1's launch i was largely in agreement with you on a lot of your points and views. I loved pve but couldn't stomach pvp and wanted it removed entirely. That was until trials of osiris began and the awesome gear to chase got me hooked. Since then through the rest of destiny 1's and 2's lives I've primarily enjoyed pvp as it's the activity I find to be constantly refreshing and challenging with arguably the best rewards to grind for. Pvp has kept me interested for a long time as pve for me feels stale. You're entitled to enjoy the game how you like but without pvp, I and a number of others would find little to keep us grinding.

I've done the last wish and leviathan raids. I completed every raid in destiny 1 more times than I can count. Being honest the raids I completed in d2 were fun but nothing like as entertaining as the ones in d1 and the loot doesn't interest me as much. Like I said pvp for me is where the best loot and most fun is had currently

Look I get what you're saying, I understand I havnt given certain pve content my full commitment in d2 but that's only because aside from the first time through pve activities these days i just don't get any feeling of enjoyment anymore from them and I find the weapon and armour sets to be ok but not great on the whole. I'll usually try to collect as much as possible for completions sake but I find most of the fun I have in destiny is in its pvp content. It always feels fresh and fun

I feel the same as you. Just got mountaintop yesterday and I'm enjoying it so much right now. It feels really rewarding to grind for those pinnacle weapons in PVP. Doesn't feel half as good to run 40 strikes in my eyes because it's only time dedication related, not skilled based. I will admit that matchmaking is still garbage in comp tho.

I completely agree. I'm just finishing up the mountaintop quest myself, it's a pain but a fun pain. I feel the pve pinnacle weapons just aren't that great in my opinion.
