You mean fist of panic right
It was like Panic blade except for fair because you had to get close
-
I’ve been panic Arcstrider’d more than panic smashed in the entirety of D2.
-
AMEN, ITS TRUE
-
No, no, no he means Blades of Panic.
-
Ah, one of the people who’d be using a shotgun or be in super and rush the Titan, get fisted and scream after. I remember your kind
-
People who complain about shotguns are just bad at the game
-
Uh...ok what does this have to do with my point? Also it’s semi warranted, the ratio of ease of use compared to potential success is wayyy better than say a sniper. What your saying is at least a little true though, you can just be more defensive or use a sidearm to counter fairly effectively
-
Not gonna handicap myself using these suppose it shotgun counters
-
“Supposed” btw, also if you think they handicap you over a shotgun then clearly the shotgun is more powerful and needs to be tuned or the other options need to be brought up??? I mean think about that for a second, also if you think they limit you then that’s on you for not being able to use them

I love this The endless and useless debate of pvp balance in a superpower game.
-
Modifié par Fabled-Red : 12/22/2018 4:45:22 AMOk so I’ll use an auto rifle that one shots and has infinite ammo and has no recoil and we will 1v1, I’m sure you’ll have heaps of fun and keep playing because balance isn’t important. This has been my ted talk
-
I’ll have heaps of fun laughing at you, sure. I had a similar mod in H2, except the bullets acted like grenades. Dual smgs were fun 😎 So were the flying Warthog turrets.....but I digress. It’s useless because there is no happy ground. What works for you won’t work for him. What’s good for the guncentric won’t work for the powercentric. PvPers want this to be fair and square. I don’t see how super powers and sci-fi weapons can be fair or square. This isn’t a generic shooter like most FPS are. This whole issue bogged down 1, led to the bland base 2 and has caused them to start designing weapons to perform differently in PvE and pvp. Which means pvpers are actually hurting game design. Ted talks? Circle jerk all you want.
-
AHAT ABOUT HALO?! YOUR WHOLE POINT IS SO DAMN DUMB IM GONNA DIE OF DISBELIEF?! Balance is so you enjoy the game?? If I have to use one kind of weapon to be competitive and the entire community only uses the same thing, you just robbed everyone of the ability to have choice
-
What a crock. You don’t have to use any single particular weapon for any pvp play. Period. Higher ranked comp? Sure the weapon usage range narrows to a degree. You don’t have trash players in high comp teams if you wanna win just like you don’t wear your second best gear either. Exotics are meant to be OP and some legendaries are meant to be pinnacle. The vast majority of loot is designed with pve in mind or have you forgotten? That’s what happens when you play a majority pve game. You get a game designed around it and pvp is meant to be a side show diversion.
-
Modifié par Fabled-Red : 12/24/2018 9:21:10 AMAnd pvp isn’t a side show diversion? WTF is that?? This game is designed to retain both PvP and PvE audiences?? Its why the have competitive?? Jesus dude, dense much?? And saying exotics are supposed to be OP is wrong and contradicts your statement about being able to use anything, it’s like thorn in D1?? It had above 30% usage at one point BECAUSE it was op, and because you needed to use it to compete because it was an OP exotic?? Also if usage of exotics and weapons “narrows to a degree” (which is a MASSIVE understatement but I’ll let that slide) then your proving my point that people are shoehorned into using the clearly stronger options so they can win let alone having a chance. This is ESPECIALLY true at higher levels of comp
-
Ok you just proved my point wtf? People care about balance and try to make everything useable SO you don’t have to use any one gun?? That was my whole point?? We talk about this stuff so we can use anything without being at a disadvantage ffs, read what I said and understand it instead of glossing over It
-
Weapons that 1 shot at the pull of a trigger will always dominate. Look at d1 a lot of people sniped because if accurate you can clutch games easy. You can do it with other guns but when your outnumbered you want to spend as little time in gunfights thus the 1 shot at the pull of the trigger
-
Also I’m D1 autorifles in high Fire rate archetype we’re VERY prominent for a while when they were buffed, and they weren’t one shots
-
Then why are snipers not nearly as present as shotguns? And just because they oneshot doesn’t put them above a sidearm? You walk backwards with a sidearm and shoot while getting rushed and it can get some easy kills, and the Cerberus +1 is a great counter too if used WELL. Also machine guns are prominent now and they aren’t oneshots like rocket launchers or linear fusions?!
-
Just saying I don't die to these shotgun counters that often as I do shotguns(.)
-
Ooooo burn. If only this was D1.
