MAYHEM PSA: NOT MEANT TO BE BALANCED
A normal load out won't work in mayhem.
This is all about spam, and shenanigans.
Do not base super balance on this game mode

Shards of Galanor is also currently the only exotic armor that gives you energy whether you kill anything or not. BB also has a much larger AOE and effectiveness speed than any other super. You pop it, they’re dead. You get damage resistance IN BB. And you can hit and kill enemies instantly that are at much larger distance than any other super can (except Chaos Reach but hey, that doesn’t have tracking and you get an obstructed view) I will not tolerate any nonsense about Mayhem “Not meant to be balanced.” It is an unintended consequence of Shards existing, BB being massively over effective as a super, and Mayhem game mode combined.

1 commentaireI see nothing wrong with Mayhem. It's supposed to be a crazy no holds barred mode. If players don't like the mode, then don't play it. Pretty simple.

There are a lot of people who obviously joined the game after Forsaken was launched and never played mayhem before now. Those people I see trying to hide in the back with a sniper rifle, the ones running around with Telesto trying to play it like it's clash. Let them whine... and die. Or learn.

3 commentairesIncase people were wondering. As long as you get a kill with Blade barrage while having shards of galanor equipped in mayhem, you’ll get a full super back. Same thing happens in the blinding well when you have the harmony buff. You can keep spamming it there as well, as long as you get a hit with it. I assume it has to do with the super regen effect of mayhem and harmony that interacts with shards of galanors regen.

Balance referring to the critical factor of player knowledge and ability winning out with a hint of chance to not discourage effort in tough situations. Of course you unimaginative lot don't think that. All because Bungie hasn't been good at it since Halo. Oh and for those that are too stupid to think and say things like "go back to Halo" COD has exhibited balance as well. Destiny never has, and mayhem highlights a lot of why. Let that sink in.

1 commentaireNova Bomb is pretty bad isn't it? At least it's a shadow of what it was in D1. More than once now Arcstriders have moved just plain straight though my bomb. I'm not kidding. They did their attack swing animation and went straight through the orb unharmed.

Not balanced but most supers still have a cool down Shards for blade barrage bypass cool down so yeah thats kinda broken i got spawn killed by the same guy in pacifica and he used 5+ supers back to back off me and other spawning team mates

8 commentairesLets be real the only thing that works in mayhem is BB hunters. I played a many games last week in which i was the only titan in the lobby. It is what it is but lets not act like there are options besides BB in mayhem. Last time around it was nova bomb glitch that kept me out of mayhem. Enjoy to those who like but that shit is stupid when any time mayhem is up its always 1 super to rule them all. Feels like a pve activity which would be fun in theory if other supers had a place.

Any roaming super is a free target for BB. You might as well put up a sign that says "please kill me" BB ruins mayhem with how fast supers charge. Easy fix tbh. -your filthy neighborhood hunter main

3 commentairesI only complain about the gauntlets which eliminates the cooldown for blade barrage. I've been running sentinel and I can block the first blade barrage. But then dude has it immediately again and kills me with the second one. It's unfortunate to say the least. If you use any other class, you put yourself at a distinct disadvantage. All it does it force others to use the same loadout and then what do you have? A lobby consisting of 90% BB hunters. I'm sorry but in D1, there was still variety in Mayhem. Not one super to rule them all. I by no means want BB to be nerfed. But maybe those gauntlets need to be tweaked. Or other supers need to be buffed. Not sure how to fix.
