My two clanmates and I got it done last night after a few tries. Here's the strat we used - hope it helps others. Our avg LLs were 609-615. Myself and someone else on the higher end. This does require communication, coordination, and you need to be able to duck and dodge around to survive while being a killing machine.
Both rounds: stack up in the cave area which filters all the adds to you.
Loadouts:
-1 hunter with anything, Loaded Question, and Whisper. Blade Barrage with Shards
-1 titan with an anything, EP shotgun, and Whisper. Melting point/hammers
-1 hunter with an anything, Loaded Question, and Whisper. Orpheus Rig tether
*Use as much gear with special ammo finder as possible*
Loaded Question's burst will one shot the smaller blue adds. EP shotty also takes them out quick. You can also take down the gladiators relatively quickly. Loaded Question is also reat for general add clear since you can wipe out multiple enemies at once.
Go for the blue adds to refresh time. Team shoot/use supers on the Colossi in wave 2. Nightstalker ensnare nades work by disorienting them so they don't shoot. The orbs stay on the ground for a decent amount of time and only add 1 second to the clock when deposited, so field them when it's safe.
Boss strat:
Stack up in the back where you first come in with Whispers. Take out the drones to drop his shield. Start hitting headshots with Whisper. Tether hunter tethers as adds get close and titan uses hammers to clear. Titan mps the boss, hunter uses bb. Run back, get orbs, bb again. Whisper to kill.
*Having a Well of Radiance would make this a lot easier, but we didn't so we worked with what we had*
Edit: Last night we did it a few times with a well and 3 One Thousand Voices and we absolutely melted him. Idk why we didn't do that from the beginning :(
Oh and once you beat it and get the Hammerhead, I had an idea of using Tractor Cannon with two Hammerheads behind a rally barricade or in a Well and it shreds!!!
Drop an upvote if you think this will help out others and feel free to share your strats and info.
Good luck guardians!

I've done the whisper strategy and i've completed it with a tractor cannon and two hammerheads. The second strategy works quite well surprisingly.

Ya'll are using some weird strats for this stuff, but you do you. Personally, my clan goes to the opposite side of where you enter the Forge. That little cliff side on the other side of the arch? When boss round happens, 2 of us head back there and wait while the 3rd kites the boss just in front of the arch and then we, well, we just shoot him a bunch with Whisper. His rockets will hit the arch, so you don't have to worry about that. All you gotta do is strafe a little when he shoots at you or a Psion tries to get a sneaky headshot on ya.

I'm at 607 and just completed it. I ran it with a Nightstalker (Tree is your choice), Chaos Reach, and Code of the commander Titan. All with EP shotguns. CotC Titan is Phenominal for add clear because ability kills heal you and your teammates, on top of ability energy. Great for the 1st and 2nd waves, but only alright for the Boss wave. This is where the other 2 guys come in. 1st, the Hunter its the boss with a tether when the boss's shield comes down, but wait until he is in the area under the Forge itself. Then, our Chaos reach comes in and hits the boss with it, buffed with the Tether. While all of this is happening, Your titan is running around getting rid of adds and, if your close enough, giving the Warlock and Hunter their Melees, grenades and class abilities back. Then once most of the adds are gone, you want to just lay into the Boss with your EP shotguns. The Tether will buff your damage on top of Trench barrel, making your damage output great.

1 commentaireCompleted the original a number of times now. It’s easy enough to do the new forage with blueberries. It’s not hard just stay alive and play with your teammates - team fire everything down on one side of the map and burn the boss with machine guns and supers.
-
I’ll let you know when I actually hit the power level THE GAME RECOMMENDS for the boss in another week.
-
Been having no luck with match making and no one in my clan seems to want to run it. I'm 611 on my warlock. So frustrating lol
-
I have completed both near 604 light now
-
Nope. I grinded to 612 and may try again this weekend.
-
If you're lower light, stay away from the boss, use ranged weapons. If you die over and over and over, you're hurting your team. Use Whisper if you have it, there's a rock on the left side that your entire team can post up on and head glitch the boss. You'll beat him easily if you do this.

Instead of using whisper, me and a random both used thunderlord with either a lunafaction well of radiance or rally barricade to automatically reload thunderlord. Just the 2 full mag thunderlord took the boss down well below the 1/3rd mark and we finished the boss with out shotguns and remaining supers. I think 3 fully loaded thunderlord with lunafaction rifts or rally barricade will completely wipe the boss

Warlock with Well of Radiance and Phoenix Protocol, Hunter rocking Nightstalker with Orpheus Rig, and Sentinel Titan with Ursa Furiosa, all using EP shotty and Whisper/ 1k Voices. Did it first try with that strat. Levels were 606, 608, and 610.

2 commentairesWhat about Warlocks?
-
1 tractor for final boss and 2 whispers or sleepers or 1k voices
-
2 commentairesTelesto is the best. That and a couple of special ammo finder perks and a fusion rifle scavenger with light reactor. I haven't used my primary in the last 3 runs.
-
6 commentairesCompleted them both, second one is stupid easy because it sends shanks into the field which can be one shot. Not really sure how people are struggling here.

Modifié par Northern : 12/7/2018 11:38:57 PMRally the flag before you enter the forge. Stick together. We'll Melting point. Arc strider +raiden flux. Blow supers at the start of wave 2, you'll get all supers back for the Boss phase. Well placement depends on weapons. Thunderlords +Auto shotgun. Place well centre left. The Boss seems to wander there from his spawn. Arc strider can stub lock him. Whispers place well on the landing you jump down to in the arena. Adds can only come at you from the front.
-
1 commentaireThe best way is as follows: 611 or more is optimal 1 radiance well with Luna Boots. 3 Thunderlords will full ammo. Other two super dont really matter, but ranged preference like chaos reach or blade barrage. You will finish with over a minute remaining.
-
Use the same gear and supers that u would use to beat kali
-
1 commentaireBest way to complete: 1. Use Whisper for boss 2. Use either code of commander for titan, chaos reach for warlock, and blade barrage for hunter. SAVE supers for the colossus 3. Stay on the left of the map while dpsing boss
-
Same advice I give in strikes. Stop being stingy with your supers. If both your teammates do theirs then you get it back so on and so forth.
-
1 commentaireFinished the first one, basically my raid loadout with an ep shotty and thinderlord. I had a scout put would rather a kinetic pulse. Of course it could of been luck

Geomag and Riskrunner

Modifié par Lord_Shar : 12/7/2018 10:49:39 PMI've completed the EDZ forge with my hunter more than a few times. This was my basic set-up Way of the Wraith + Gwisin Vest Kinetic = Redrix Broadsword or Breakneck Energy = Ikelos Shotgun Power Weapon = Whisper of the Worm or 1k Voices Use spectral blades for add control -- don't save it for the boss, because the adds are the biggest threat, especially Gladiators. Only use the 2nd heavy RMB attack -- don't waste super energy with quick LMB strikes. This ult lasts a long time if used correctly.
-
3 commentairesDone it numerous times solo as a Warlock. Well of Radiance is an absolute blessing, plant it where the respawn point is and there's no risk if you somehow manage to die in it. 35 seconds of boosted DPS to the boss with low risk knocks a ton of health out of him. Banner Shield in coordination with this (one used after the other is over) can supply orbs for Well and serves to protect the other players and boost damage as well.
-
Only beat it four times not too shabby

Completed 1 time with randoms Class: Hunter Subclass: Arc strider Kinetic: midnight coup Energy: EP shotgun Heavy: Whisper of the worm Light level 609
