Disputing a Ban or Restriction
There are NO options to dispute or overturn account restrictions or bans.
Permanent account bans are only implemented with rigorous checking to ensure that the innocent are not punished alongside the guilty. Bungie does not comment on or discuss individual account restriction or bans.

Restrictions are temporary, and will not be overturned or undone before they expire. Once an account is banned however, that ban is permanent. Account restrictions and bans are only done in extreme cases; if actions were taken against your account, then it was with reason.
Bungie takes actions to preserve the experience of all Destiny players, and does not take account restrictions lightly. Players are responsible for their online account and console hardware, and any actions taken in the world of Destiny, and should be careful of who they allow to access their Destiny account.
Modifié par Demon : 10/24/2018 5:14:46 PMno m8 its not software fault it was me back in august i was a naughty man I did not even know it lol guess I got what I deserved a lesson leard well by not buying any more games from bungie hahahaha :) antham here I come
-
So you broke Bungie’s policy & are now (& in future) going to hold it against Bungie for them following their policies? In the words of all non-cheaters....get bent!
-
dude guess you dont understand, I did something wrong got punished, now I can no longer buy games from bungies as there is a ban on my account not just the game as far as getting a new account *&%" that. I will just get over it and move on there are more games out there to play and try not to get banned on them too hehe.
-
I understood you perfectly. Why would Bungie allow you to buy the game again on the same account that you were banned with? Seems you don’t understand the basic concept of accounts/purchases.
-
never mind bro ffs
-
I dont give a dam about eula m8 its the right to appeal. all customers have the rights to appeal and bungie dont give you the chance its agained the eu laws m8.
-
I dont give a dam about eula m8 its the right to appeal. all customers have the rights to appeal and bungie dont give you the chance its agained the eu laws m8.
No such thing as a "right to appeal". You agreed to the terms. You agreed they can terminate your access to the game for any reason or no reason, at any time, without notice. You should read what you sign.
-
Modifié par Demon : 10/23/2018 10:55:21 PMThey cant ban you for no reason cause thats stealing funds from you, A crime in all counties. and for reasons m8 you have the right to explain yourself for your actions. Value Steam has a vac ban and you can appeal if mistake intent was not yours.
-
p.s as for rights to appeal read this and tell me again no such thing https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/law-and-courts/civil-rights/human-rights/what-are-human-rights/
-
leave for judicial review has been refused - this means you've been refused the right to apply for judicial review
This is for court cases reagarding human rights not video game EULA. The human rights this covers, per your article.
Examples of human rights include: the right to life the right to respect for private and family life the right to freedom of religion and belief.
-
I dont care about the eula m8 you are a human that can appeal against anything in life the eula can be over turned in court if you have a problem with it, I dont its the rights to appeal, there is no option, thats what im disbuting there could be a mistaken intent either on there behalf or mine reasons are allow to be explained.
-
Modifié par TuxyDoh : 10/24/2018 5:13:41 PMBeing human does not grant you a right to appeal a business or any private entities decision. Feel free to fight the EULA, but do not mistake that your quoted law is protection against ban. It is not a guarantee the Bungie or any company has to give you an appeal. Feel free to file a claim in open court and be prepared to pay legal fees when bungie provides said proof of the violation. Things like Hunter Waltair pointed out is plenty of reason to support a ban:
Lol meanwhile you spent the last weekend of trials playing the same 4 stack all 7 games and them all leaving... hmmm wonder why you’re banned. Your stats don’t lie
-
They cant ban you for no reason cause thats stealing funds from you
Yes they CAN. You agreed to the terms. If you didn't like the terms, then you should not have agreed to them. You can't agree to them in the beginning and then, some time later, decide you don't agree after action is taken under the terms. Bungie has all the proof they need you violated their terms anyway. I am sure they can present them in a court of law, then you will be footing the legal bills.
-
and what are they going to present in court i underclock my cpu cause it was overheating to stop the game from crashing mmmm yeah that desvers a ban does it
-
and if i did not like the terms it would not let me install it so we are all force to accept it if we want to play
-
If you want to play then you accept the terms. If you don't accept the terms, then you uninstall it without playing. It's that simple. If you didn't agree to the terms, you could have even gotten a refund directly from Bungie because the reason was you didn't accept the terms. However, you can't unaccept the terms after accepting them. You're already bound by the rules and agreements; you can't dismiss that.
-
Lol meanwhile you spent the last weekend of trials playing the same 4 stack all 7 games and them all leaving... hmmm wonder why you’re banned. Your stats don’t lie
-
and if i did not like the terms it would not let me install it so we are all force to accept it if we want to play
Of course it lets you uninstall it. That is even part of the terms if you do not accept, you are to uninstall any copies of the software.
-
Correct. Now, uninstall it and try to return it anywhere for a full refund. Let me know how that goes.
-
lol it was a download not a disk install the ban was my fault alone, I just need to accept it and move on there will be other games to play better then destiny cost is not that much to me tbh
-
You are not very good at following conversations and comprehending.
-
You see it doesn't work that way. If upon initial installation, and reading of the SLA, you choose to not accept the terms, Bungie has provisions for that written into the SLA along with instructions on how to do so. Once you accept the terms by clicking that button, you no longer have that option.
-
That's what I am explaining does not actually happen. It gives contact information to use if you decline, you uninstall, and you contact. I have 2 friends who followed that procedure to a T on the day of purchase. The contacts informed them they had to work with the retailer they purchased from who then said it was open and they will not accept.
-
Interesting.
-
Also, honestly, my understanding of it is that is on Activision not Bungie even though the EULA is through Bungie.
