CRYO POD HEROIC HOW TO
To initiate heroic difficulty on the Cryo Pod public event, you have to shoot the small vents spraying the freezing gas.
Once destroyed. It will give you a freezing orb you have to throw at the boss.
Once you throw 4 orbs, the boss will freeze solid, prompting you to stand in an extraction zone until he gets extracted

4 commentairesAmazed me how many people aren't even trying to figure this out, just killing the boss as fast as they can.

Most of them I was at no one had a clue it seems. They just burned down the boss while you try to trigger the heroic.

Bump. Only have to hit the boss with 3 of the orbs though.

Taken blight all over again. One jerk had the nerve to message me and my friend to thank us for ruining the public event, when the reason it failed us because he kept dying right on top of the orb so we couldn't pick them up without rezing first, and we are squishy so we died too. 30 seconds left, not one orb put on boss, we just killed him. Hate mail ensues.

1 commentaireMe and my buddy randomly discovered this last night, and we haven't missed a beat with other events yet. Still working on that scorn ether event though... I'm pretty sure you gotta kill all the ether before it can get to the center piece.

The real challenge is racing to throw the snowballs at the enemy before all the blueberries kill said enemy.

Thanks for this! I've been using Local Chat in game(and of course hoping they see it) when I see anybody close to level 30 at events to let them know, just in case, how to make it heroic. Seems to have worked so far.

1 commentaireI hope the randoms that play but dont use the forums will eventually learn that speed killing the boss in seconds is the worst way at trying to turn this Public Event into its Heroic version.
