Honestly say something! And Luke you called us jerks! What do you call a guy who stripped millions of joy, happiness, desire to play destiny?

20 commentairesLogged on this morning for the first time since early January. Thought maybe I'd play some crucible or strikes to get some of the season 2 faction loot. After running some housekeeping errands around the tower I pulled pulled up the destination map and stared at it for about two minutes before ultimately deciding there was nothing I really wanted to do and logging out. I really want to want to play, but I just don't. I loved everything about D1 even for all it's flaws, but the magic is gone. My clan and friends have all moved on, and I think I finally have to face the fact that the game I loved is gone and may never return.

2 commentairesThey're are ashamed, they're are literally the laughing stock of gaming , currently.
-
I'd like to think they've revoked Luke Smith's speaking priveleges, but I don't think we're that lucky.

There will be no admission of failure. I have no doubt that these idiots are still congratulating themselves for making the best game ever while lamenting that no one understands that theyre right about everything. I truly believe this is the general attitude at bng hq. Let the studio die. So long as these guys are leading projects, and higher ups are stupid enough to allow them to continue, there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

6 commentairesThere will be no comments from anyone at Bungie that the community is looking for. A couple of reasons. As unpalatable as it is , commercially, Destiny 2 has been a success. Increased sales at launch and I would suspect the pre-ordered year 1 dlc will also have out stripped Destiny. Equally unsavoury is the fact that Eververse has also been a great success. There is a big mismatch between public comment on forums about how evil that is and private actions. Regardless the overall picture is commercially succesful. The other reason is that if either of these two were to publicly state they produced a garbage product the corporate suits would go into meltdown. This community will never get the response it is looking for. The only weapon in the community armoury is to ensure wallets remain tightly shut for Y2 dlc and boycott that content. Sadly, I am sure the reality will fly in the face of public comments on forums.

An honorable leader owns up to the decisions that didn't work out and the mistakes of his team, even when they weren't theirs. Maybe he did it in a podcast with 3 viewers or something, but I haven't seen anything like that from him so far in a widely viewed arena.
-
1 commentaireNo, Luke Smith has no "honor". That's obvious from everything he says and does. I don't know they guy at all, but watching a few youtube interviews is all I need to recognize a guy who thinks he's the smartest guy in the room(which he isn't) and anyone who disagrees with him is somehow an inferior human. He's a textbook narcissist with an underlying self-loathing that he tries to cover with a show of constant arrogance. Christopher Barrett I have no clue about. The changes he's attempting to put in place are steps in the right direction. I have a feeling he still has to answer to people like Luke Smith, and I think he's facing an uphill battle.

1 commentaireUnofficial statement from Luke Smith: Keep throwing money at your screens you jerks. Making games is like making a sandwich and is too hard. We are listening. Stay tuned for more nerfs.
-
so, from what i can gather, bungie have collectively, shat their pants on how badly their shoddy product is doing, and they are scrambling like mad to try and make the disaster that is d2, into d1. We already have d1, which works fine, you corporate butt munchers, just pull the plug on this bag of shite, and make a decent game. You screwed up what could have been a good game. You screwed up the lore. You screwed up everything you spent 3 years making good Lets face it, bungle, you just plain screwed up.
-
They'll only care in the fall, and a year (probably 2 years, since their track record states they're probably rebooting development on D3 by now). When the TTK-type Expansion doesn't sell as well as they'd hoped, and funds quit rolling in, only then will they give a -blam!-.
-
17 commentairesI don't want an apology from them anymore. I'd much rather see someone upload a video of them having their knee caps smashed in with a bat. It's the bare minimum that these corporate criminals deserve. Same goes for Deej, Cozmo, and dmg. Perfectly ok to shoot the messenger in this case. After weeks of playing Fortnite Battle Royale, Monster Hunter World, Warframe, Halo, Gears of War, and a shit ton of other games... I decided to give the game another try. Nothing has -blam!-ing changed.
-
its over man. they dont make games for us anymore. it was a good run
-
Fat useless scruffy -blam!-, I'd love to send smith a parcel full of dog shit
-
1 commentaireMaybe Bungie employees are killing themselves. Either that or they sit around a table drinking coffee all day.
-
12 commentairesJust a reminder... Luke Smith did not create a financial scheme that robbed a bunch of elderly people of their retirement. He did not poison the water supply of the Seattle area. He was not caught doing disgusting things to little boys. HE CREATED A VIDEO GAME THAT FELL SHORT OF CONSUMER EXPECTATIONS! So let's stop acting like he's the second coming of Adolf Hittler.
-
19 commentairesIf you are still playing this game in the state that it's in, you are the problem, not these two guys. Do yourself a favour and get Warframe. literally runs rings around this trash.
-
What the -blam!- are you talking about, they have a shit load of pride. Translated In money terms comes up to 500 million $ of trash.
-
1 commentaireGive it time, they're 'listening', don't be jerks...
Sorry, I couldn't help myself...
-
Doing NOTHING is actually something Might not make you happy
-
Well said. This is clearly a monumental management failure.

3 commentairesModifié par TheShadow-cali : 3/22/2018 8:39:48 AMBungie is known to hide when things go wrong. See, if we hide maybe it will go away. This is how Bungie has been since D1 released and they will never change when it comes to that. It's all they know how to do. Look how they hid until Downing was over just to acknowledge the community knowing how upset gamers were. They literally do not know how to communicate with their players base and at this point I don't think they even care to knowing how bad things actually are. Think about it. What could they actually say knowing what this company has done since D2 released?

48 commentaireshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmg598jo3Nc You're about 4 months late. If you "need" more than is said in this podcast, then you're expectations....not their actions....are the problem. Both he and Nosworthy (the two project leads...everyone always wants to beat up on Smith, but Nosworthy always seems to get a pass), OPENLY AND FREELY acknowledge that they made the WRONG game. That the game was made too much for the casual player (The Tourist) and failed to meet the needs of the hardcore Destiny player (The Hobbyist). ...and all the changes that Barrett has been leading the effort to make to Destiny 2 have been about fixing that error.
-
To everyone! Thx for the conversation. It’s all welcome. We all have the one thing in common here though. We’re unhappy with the current state of destiny and they have been doing this for 3 yrs. just before it wasn’t like this. We had destiny to enjoy in one form or another. But this!? They deserve nothing less ppl
-
3 commentairesOooh watch out Luke, Monster's Inc has called you out.
-
It wasn’t Barret. You’re not being fair. Luke, Luke deserves it, but Barret did not do anything. Time will tell with Barret. At least he has the vision so far.... or just telling us what we want to hear. Like I mentioned, time will tell. But you can’t blame Barret yet for Luke’s failures.
-
They are still counting tons of glimmer from us.
