BUNGIE, LET ME CHOOSE CRUCIBLE MODE!!!!
Just going to lay it out plain and simple. Having two playlists that give you random modes is garbage. Let us choose what we want to play like we are all use to. I understand that this was probably done to speed up matchmaking but I'd rather wait a little longer and play the game mode I want to play. Not trying to be a cry baby like the majority of the forums.

I didn't really think this would bug me until i realized how much I hated that game mode where everyone shares lives (survival I think?). I'm terrible at that single game mode and it drives me nuts.

This bothered me at first too but after some time I stopped caring and have instead started to learn and improve in the game modes I played far less like Supremacy.

With the wait times as high as they are they might as well.

Wouldn't be an issue if they would just implement voting within the lobby for the next game. But I agree, i do not like the way crucible playlists are set up at the moment.

You say you'd rather wait a lil longer to play what you want, while i understand, i get the feeling if you (and others) did have to wait longer, yall would complain about that, and/or say how 'destiny 2 is dead cause how long it takes find a game'. Just saying, it seems bungie is damned if they do, damned if they dont. As for making it like they did: while i might not agree, bungie said the game would be more casual, and making it simple like that just falls in line with that. Also, it helps with shortening the wait time to find games, which is always a good thing.

1 commentaireThe decision wasn’t about rushed game or any of that. It was a choice to theoretically shorten matchmaking times and restrict the community matchmaking pool. However I still experience high wait times so this may not have worked. However don’t bash them for “taking away control” and “rushed game” because that isn’t the motive here. The motive was to address the long match times

That said the absence, not removal, of player choice is something that should be rectified as quickly as possible. In that regard, private games should be first priority in coming back. It gives people choice and doesn't compromise design decisions as much as a separate playlist for each mode. Of course it is not that easy but I figure it is the better thing to tackle from the outset.
