hmm...forever 29...lvl 30 on TDB release BUT almost two years to get the monte carlo and pretorian...
-
1 commentaireAnd lvl 30 VoG was nearly impossible
-
Never could get a chestpiece
-
-blam!-!THOSE!BOOTS!
-
Forever 28! Get on my level!
-
1 commentaireOf course, but why do people want to remember negatives?? It's like Cosmo asking when we remembered getting the Gally. All that does is (or should) piss people off remembering them ruining the weapon, among others, with stupid senseless nerfs.

1 commentaireEven though i was stuck at 29 and i could rarely find groups and when i did we barely beat it, it was great. What I would give to be back there again. Great memories.

7 commentairesLfg post be like "no iron banner gear, only real 30s"
-
Back when a full set of raid gear was a special thing to see.
-
Like if you remember SmoggyPluto
-
Oh the good ol days. I think it was during HoW I did a VOG run on my titan....by the end of the raid I'm pretty sure I got a full set of armor in I think that one run. Wish that crap would have happened before. I could be wrong about getting the full set in the one run tho. It might have been a combo of 2 weeks. I just remember looking at my inventory and having a full set of un upgraded gear.

the boots just wouldn't drop
-
-
Lol I actually never had issue. I got bots as one of my first drops and while I didn't get a helm for the longest time I just wore an exotic.
-
I remember it. Was actually pretty awful. DB wasn't as bad, but it still suffered from the same problem. HoW was the best idea the game had to date, but I felt that the etheric light system ultimately fell victim to the fact that once you had everything you needed to effectively farm etheric light, you no longer needed etheric light. Infusion was an excellent idea, although, it was initially implemented extremely poorly. And as for raising LL from HoW -> TTK and TTK -> RoI, I ultimately found that a lot of the activities that offered progression, simply didn't feel fun for me to do. It felt like a chore.

1 commentaireThose were the glory days.

12 commentairesI remember it, but it didn't bother me as much as it bothered everyone else. I was able to get A character to 30, just not my main character. And along the way, I earned a TON of great loot that I thoroughly enjoyed in other phases, particularly my OG Suros Regime. With that gun, I have easily double the number of kills I have with G-Horn, and on par with Icebreaker, even though used Icebreaker much more regularly down the stretch. People tend to be bitter about forever 29. I just look at it as part of the struggle that made the game much more challenging in Y1 - and much more rewarding once you got over the hump.

1 commentaireYep same, couldn't get the boots! What a grind. LOL I must say the levelling system has vastly improved since those days.

4 commentairesModifié par Kenobi : 8/14/2017 10:46:37 PMThose damn boots, kept getting helmets and arms... I'll always remember forever 29 in year 1, along with running Templar on hard 40+ times before getting fatebringer. Edit: for the record I loved every run and loved trying to get to 30!
-
I remember it, but I wasn't a part of it :(
-
1 commentaireStory of my life on Destiny early year 1 days rofl.
-
That's a exotic helmet your not a real lvl 30
-
Why Atheon... why did u make me kill u so many times before you dropped the helmet for me? Why!!?
-
All I needed was boots, so of course it would never drop.
-
Gauntlets for days. But never got the chest or helmet in a timely manner
-
2 commentairesForever 29 was the reason I got so heavy into crucible. Atheon isn't gonna give me my loot so I gotta bend over for Shaxx
