Well, after a week of playing the beta, I've definitely learned one thing that is undeniable... D2 is nothing like D1... Sure, there are certain similarities, but overall, bungie seemed to rip the original engine out of the car and replaced it with Fred Flintstone's feet.
I'm a Destiny fanatic!... And although I want to buy D2 so bad, I just don't know if I really want to play a game ANYTHING like the beta. Am I crazy??? Am I alone???
I'm not saying that I wouldn't eventually buy D2 if it somehow was able to exceed the current expectations, but as of now, there's no way I can see myself being entertained by this new gameplay.
Do any of you think the actual game and gameplay will be any better than what we are assuming?... Hopefully a lot better. I was very disappointed to say the least. I hear a lot of people talking about the new game Anthem, but personally, I don't want to jump ship. I want my Destiny...
The future of Destiny doesn't look so promising unfortunately... Everything that has a beginning, also has an end. Is the the beginning of the end for destiny? Who knows, but I'm not doing any more cash until I know it's worth it...
*Edit
To those who assume this is my only account and that I haven't played the game enough...this is definitely not my only account. I'm a year 1 beta player on Xbox one...I have over 33 days on my warlock alone and I've remade characters over and over, like many of us. Recently I've gone to the dark side of ps4 pro lol, so I decided to get D1, again on this system... I'm planning on using the ps4 for D2 after seeing the game upon release.

the horribile weapon system was enough for me. I didn't like the Abilities either. all around I didn't really have fun playing the beta, which is a shame but whateves, there's plenty of other games coming out

I pre ordered 3 copies

1 commentaireDon't worry I pre ordered PS4 Xbox1x and pc so I got you covered

27 commentairesModifié par Robot Gandhi : 7/27/2017 6:48:28 PMI seriously don't understand why everyone is up in arms about D2. The only obvious issues in the beta were cooldown times and power ammo drops in PvE. That's it. Done. Everything else is fine. Bungie has even said that the beta was an old build so most of the issues have probably already been fixed. Nobody on these forums or on YouTube have come up with any valid reasons to be this hateful on D2. Can someone fill me in or link a video with decent criticism please? Edit: H TOWN BALLA 80 so kindly linked me a clear and coherent pro and con post. Thank you!

14 commentairesPlayed one run of Destiny 2 Beta. Didn’t need more to decide: it’s not Destiny. I played ~4000 hours of Destiny, this ain’t it! Nice try though, will give it an F for eFfort. Next...

I pre-ordered with a $5 refundable fee. Can't say it wasn't worth it.

Destiny 2 is going to be highly superior to Destiny 1. The open world of Destiny 2 is more expansive and fun than any of those "Patrols" that nobody ever went in because they were a waste of time. Destiny 2 seems to be every we ever wanted Destiny 1 to be, with large amounts of exploration for us to take part in, challenges for us to conquer and plenty of loot for us to earn. Destiny 2 feels different from Destiny 1 yes, but it is a good different. Allowing us to take in and fully experience the world Bungie has created instead of just blasting through it without a second thought and then complaining how short and empty the game was later. I personally am more excited than ever for Destiny 2 (Though I don't want to be as hype ruins games) with being able to play the BETA and get my hands in the game. Actually. I canceled my original pre-order and bought the Collecters Edition if the game(Got my self a Fidget Spinner boys😀).

I'll only get destiny 2 if they change the way weapons are sorted and free DLC

1 commentaireAnthem wont be the Destiny killer Borderlands 3 will get that honor

30 commentairesAgreed. The new weapon loadout out is the worst part. Retarded change.

1 commentaireThe gunplay was fine the supers were cool. If they fix these things it should be better: 1.) recovery time for all classes (although) better armor could take care of this 2.) faster super time (reduce time to get super by 1.5 - 2 mins) 3.) increase movement speed for jumps especially warlocks and Titans (mostly warlocks jump. It feels like you are jump through water or you weigh 10x normal ground weight) 4.) reduce time you don't have radar after ADSing with your gun. (Back to D1 levels or give an artifact) 5.) Buff supers armor and their tracking/ hit registration They do all of that and D2 will be better than D1.
-
If they can buff the Kinetic and Energy weapons up to the damage of the primaries and sidearms in D1, buff the abilities and Supers to compensate for the long cooldowns, and fix the horrid Attunements to be more optimal for the playstyles they're supposed to be built around, I may consider buying it.
-
I'm not buying into the hype. Go with your gut. If you've played the beta and if you've experienced how Bungie runs their company... you know shit ain't gonna change. I'm staying away. Bungie won't change unless it hits their wallet. Make a stand and just ignore D2 like thousands of others are doing.

8 commentairesAfter ME:3 and ME:A, BioWare doesnt really have their head in the game lately. Yes, it's the Edmonton studio, but there still hasnt been a lot of solid decisions coming out of that studio. SW:ToR is another example of a mess... So Anthem is seriously in the back of my mind and being watched carefully. It's not a day 1 purchase.

I dont care for it either

3 commentairesyou wrote five paragraphs to say nothing much but to ask a question... should you buy d2? no give me your money

45 commentairesModifié par SixFootDig : 7/27/2017 5:23:24 AMNo offense whatsoever but I can't believe how conservative some people are over 60 bucks. I mean if you play for 20 hours its money well spent, let alone the hundreds or even thousands of hours some people get out of a measly 60$. Again Its your money and you are having doubts and want to wait more power to you but I can't relate. Edit - hope to see ya out there guardian!

10 commentairesAlready pre-ordered the $100 limited edition. : ) Missed out on that D2 fidget spinner deal though lol.
-
Beta was a small sample to test servers and I can't wait for the full release ....beta got me more excited for it. It's change and some have a hard time with that for better or worse.

14 commentairesThe Lost Sector/Adventures video alone, validates my pre-order. 👍

But u get a fidget spinner

Le sigh Just because you played d1 doesnt mean you get to decide how d2 will be. Seems like most people want it to be exactly how they expected (even though that would piss off a whole new group) and still be as good at crucible. Not to mention everyone complaining has their own idea about how to fix it, then you have people ok with it and people who love it. What would be easier? Trying to juggle all expectations, or just sticking to their vision and seeing how it fully plays out? I agree there are things missing but until i can play it and see if there are options or work arounds i cant complain. Voice your opinion but also be open to alternative solutions. You guys wanna play a bungie game, or a game created by only the saltiest of our communities feedback?
