All i see is team shooting.
Team shooting does not take skill.
Im not too excited about d2 pvp.
Its easy if you want to win.
Grab a fireteam of 4. Run together team shooting.
That will get boring quick. Would also like to have 6's back. Still see lag about every other match.

Yeah. Because proper positioning and good call outs doesn't take skill. flanking the entire match and dropping people before they can react to you due to players having too much power took skill -rolls eyes-
-
-
couldn't agree more, it's all about running stacked with a fireteam for the win
-
If you get them shot your not playing right
-
Can't be the lone wolf anymore 😭
-
Well maybe you shouldn't run at the enemy team with your pants down while they pump you full of Nightshade lead. Stick with your team even if you solo que.

agreed.

I've played around 15 hours of Crucible the last two days and yeah, the latency is no better than D1....I don't care if Bungie left off the watermelon bars, I've played enough crucible to tell if someone is lagging their ass off. Hit detection is very inconsistent as well. Not sure if that's strictly latency or a deeper problem but I know neither one of those is good a month and half before launch. I like some of the changes to Crucible, don't like the "hybrid" p2p feels exactly the same as D1, rewarding players with bad connections. I play on console so it doesn't really matter to me but I know the PC crowd won't put up with all the lag, they'll drop Destiny like a bad habit.

The things many guardians choose to deny regarding Lag issues is : Destiny 1 also used hybrid connections - they had dedicated servers where hosts connect to those servers Basically Bungie introduced the exact same server structure to Destiny 2 as brand new system and majority of the guardians believed them. There is only 1 difference between D1 and D2 server structure. Physics was occurring on hosts ps4 on D1 , physics will now occur on Dedicated server. This is the only change they find to resolve lag. I suggest you to wait for the weekend to actually see the lag fest as by then majority of D1 players who didn't pre order will download and test the game. So you'll have similar amount of D1 player base lately.

Right?! So it wasn't me 'freaking out'. Hit detection was somewhat off and lag was still persistent! But let's face it, it's the beta and we have yet to see the final version. Crucible feels slow though...
-
Hit detection was definitely off, me and my friend are playing, and in the middle of the match we both said, yo this is a new game, I shouldn't already be frustrated with latency and it's the exact same thing that was going on in d1. Sucks to be popping headshots, get pissed because you think you are missing, but then 2 seconds later his health drops. It's not constant and never has been, but it happens usually a couple times between a few matches. Almost like host connections are still changing in the background, but what do I know.

I don't see why team shotting is unexpected in gamemodes that require attacking/defending points as a team.
-
The difference is in destiny 1 you could still overcome teamshooting In destiny 2, not so much
-
Agree with you 100%
-
I am fairly certain that isn't aloud on the boards. Please at least call me a name.
-
Every one has thier preferences g.
-
On top of that its easier.
-
You got what you wanted. Congrats.

You're right. I did. And I'm loving it. And oddly enough so is alpha. We were destroying tonight and I remember him being hesitant but he was shotgun warrioring it up like d1.
