Shotgun warriors are bums
I can shotgun warrior with the rest of em but after 2 plus years of this garbage I am just fed up with it. This game has a ton of different options for guns and everyone does the exact same thing. Your all dependent on radar and sliding around corners. The week that they removed radar in trials I went ham with a scout rifle cuz all you scrubs couldn't exploit this broken ass aspect of the game. You all know who you are. I can't wait till the patch so all you titan skating, jug shield using shotty warriors are left crippled. Your incompetence with any sort of primary skill will expose you and make you easy targets. 7 commentairesI know some girl streamer who thinks she's "competitive" because she plays pvp and does well in crucible but the other day i saw her stream and all she does is use shotgun and warlock melee lol I can't believe people actually think that takes skill and that somehow they'll be mlg one day because they can use a shotgun lol

Shotgun warriors are funny as hell. Very easy to gun down. The good ones are a bit annoying, but at least I'm playing in a competitive lobby then, and even then shotguns are still not hard to counter. Based on the balance patch, it didn't look like Bungie hurt shotguns too hard. The main nerf was special ammo. We'll have to see, but it's likely that most shotgun warriors will go into hiding for fear of trading. If one doesn't run sidearm for the extra ammo, snipers and fusions are a lot safer to use.

Personally, I really don't care what weapons people use. I went through period of a couple months where I was rocking Matador and Clever Dragon w/HCR all the time. They were fun to use and effective, but I vaulted them after awhile because they felt very crutchy to me, and they were holding me back from developing skills with other weapons. Ultimately I don't see shotguns as much of a problem, they are actually quite easy to deal with as long as you stay aware and recognize early in the match that the enemy team is relying on them. Just don't play the shotgunners game, which is to control close quarters. The only shotgunners I worry about are the skilled ones, that have excellent movement abilities, that have a good vertical game and speed control. I don't mind getting killed by those guys, as they are simply better than I am. What weapons they have doesn't really matter. If they are wrecking me repeatedly, it helps me recognize that I'm not adjusting my playstyle enough to deal with the threat

Shotguns really weren't that bad to begin with. My average k/d trials team beat primal twice today while they ran 3 matadors and we had sidearms lol.... im pretty sure they were confused. https://youtu.be/1deMw4ZE2AM

11 commentairesI could whip you with white weapons, just cause I use a shotgun doesn't mean I couldn't destroy u using whatever weapons I wanted, just went into a game with the trash doctrine and a pocket infinity. I got 36 kills with a 6 kd. It's not hard mate stop complaining, your the people who gets all this stuff nerfed with your complaining.

Am I a shotgun warrior if I just use them occasionally? Idk how some of you run special all match; I'm always outta ammo after one or two encounters.

2 commentairesToo true. I've never seen the appeal of shotguns in this game. Such a boring ass play style. It's for people who like it easy. I enjoy shadow stepping backwards Jay s some douche with a shotgun comes sliding in from a mile away. Then shooting them in the face and rubbing my nuts on their dead body. I don't die to shotgunners often.. cause I generally expect every idiot in the game to be using one.. so I tend to keep my distance.
