108 commentairesRicky's point is so good. I'll try to simplify it. If we were to destroy all of the current knowledge and books of religion and wait 1000 years, those religions wouldn't return. Other ones would spring up. But, if we were to destroy all of the current knowledge and books of science and wait 1000 years, all of that knowledge would be the same. Because science is fact.

Can someone list all the viable points in the video?
-
1 commentaireI like how Colbert gives Gervais praise for the good point that he made, rather than attacking it or just outright saying it's wrong because mumble mumble mumble. More people should do that.
-
1 commentaireHe made a damn good point with that point of all scientific evidence being lost
-
10 commentairesThere's one thing though. We don't know if the religion would come back or not. Hell, few religions have actually died out completely.
-
27 commentairesRicky makes an excellent point. Our scientific knowledge if all lost, could be learned again. Religion? If it's lost, the same ones would not return. The worries wouldn't be the same. The characteristics of "god" would change, etc.
