Hey everyone! My name is Bladedancer! Recently there has been a lot of negativity surrounding the Destiny community. So, my friend Nightstalker and I thought it would be a good idea to create a weekly post that promotes an entertaining and positive environment. Destiny has a great community that has proven to be extremely generous and helpful on multiple occasions. But sometimes we tend to focus on the negative aspects of the game too much. Let's change that. Each week we'll have a different theme or topic and we'd love to hear what you have to say. This week's topic is your favorite weapon! What weapon has been your go-to since the start of your journey? My favorite weapon is the Hawkmoon. I started my Destiny adventure on September 30, 2014. Destiny was my first FPS so I had no idea how to play. I hopped into that first crucible match with a blue Auto Rifle and got absolutely destroyed by Hawkmoon and The Last Word. The moment I saw that Hawkmoon I had to have it. Unfortunately I never got it in all of year 1, I did get The Last Word though, which is pretty ironic. Then year 2 came along and Xûr sold Hawkmoon. That's my favorite day in Destiny to date. Hawkmoon has never left my guardian's hands since then. I love everything about Hawkmoon. The design, perks, scope, ornaments, etc. It just feels like it was custom made for my guardian. It can do it all. I'm a mostly primary weapon user (crazy, right?) and a weapon like Hawkmoon that could be used in any and all activities was a dream come true. Nightstalker: "Bad Juju because it was my first exotic. I earned that baby. It was a Year 1 weapon, and I didn't know about the Exotic Kiosk at the time. Eventually, the Attack value was just too low and I deleted it. About a month later, I found the Exotic Kiosk and found that I could buy it, Year 2 version. I immediately bought it and continued to use it. It feels overpowered in my hands. An immediate reload (not from reserves) on every kill, increased damage after a kill, and charges your Super after a kill. It's a beautiful weapon. I'm glad they introduced ornaments for it as well. I know, I know, Bad Juju is already one of the most beautiful weapons in the game. Dragonsbane looks pretty cool, but I prefer Hoodoom. It just makes it look white and red and puts spiderwebs on it... it's just amazing." That'll do it for this week's episode.
