It's a little upsetting seeing a game that is so great have so little players. There are so many youtubers and game reviewers giving near perfect scores but the pvp base still seems really small. Does anyone know why?

4 commentairesTtk seemed a lot faster in the two betas and really that was the main thing i liked about the 1st one...faster ttk than destiny doom halo but not as fast as cod or BF...now it just feels like cod with mechs...
this is just based off the two betas i didnt bother downloading the 50 gigs last week just to play for a weekend
Just wait until Christmas, they'll come rolling in, I'm sure.
-
Xmas is almost here
-
I bought the BF1 and Titanfall deluxe bundle on Xbox one..I never liked CoD and the first Titanfall was the closest to that I'd get because GIANT ROBOTS lol
-
EA went full retard with the release date. Such a shame because it's hands down the best shooter this year. Better than cod, bf1 and everyone's precious goty overwatch.

5 commentairesModifié par TheArtist : 12/5/2016 2:26:02 PMIts what happens when you don't handle the marketing of the game properly. 1. There was little marketing buzz around the game prior to its launch. Only really hardcore fans of the first game were really aware of its release. 2. EA (which doesn't own the rights to the game) used it as a hammer to try to damage a weakened Call of Duty franchise. By releasing it between the release of their own Battlefield 1 game.....and CoD Infinite Warfare/Modern Warfare Remastered. 3. So you wind up with FOUR major FPS games all competing for what is a limited number of FPS gamers. In marketing this is called "cannibalization". The brands and the products damage each other because you flood the market with products....and there aren't enough customers to go around. EA "wins" in this because they still get paid for publishing Titanfall 2....and they get to steal customers from CoD...which helps them in their ongoing fight for supremacy. Respawn and Titanfall 2 got used, and gets left holding the shit end of the stick. Because a very good game gets perceived as a "failure". Not because it was a poor game....but because it was thrown into a glutted market where it had to compete for customers with two GIANTS of the gaming world..... ...when it probably would have dropped to record sales if it had been given a spring launch like the last game.

-
It was released a week after BF1 which was more hyped and a week before Infinite Warfare which people always wait up for some reason Also, don't worry, Black Friday already helped the player base some and I guarantee that after Christmas the player base will skyrocket

2 commentairesDescribe what pvp is like. I am just curious to see what it is like.

5 commentairesModifié par Lordsa Jar-Jar : 12/7/2016 3:44:05 AMIndie game, what did you expect ? Though it is surprising how low the sales are compared to last release, down almost 70%. I guess most people saw it as the same game.
-
The real reason is EA They released it between two big beasts BF1 and CoD thus the game was Unknown for most ppl.
-
I loved the first one but the thing is that I don't it right now. But Christmas is coming so the sales will be beter.
-
3 commentairesI bought it Black Friday but haven't played it yet. I have a buddy who refuses to play MP on any game, but he talked me in to TF2 just for the MP. So I really need to give it a shot.

Modifié par Megamind : 12/6/2016 10:19:57 PMWait until Christmas
-
I couldn't find a server to play on PC. Like I could not connect to an established connection to the multiplayer part of the game
-
It's a really good game, wait until Christmas and I'm sure it'll have a great increase in player population.
-
Last time I played, a couple weeks ago, player count was around 23k. Started playing again yesterday and was pleased to see 56k.

-
4 commentairesI bought it and BF1 for $75 but I'm still not even done with Dishonored 2. I'll get to the MP one day... but I gotta let the campaign sit with me a bit. Actual spoiler v
Im not ready for a new Titan just yet.
Modifié par Beefjerky007 : 12/6/2016 1:51:13 PMI just bought the game the other day. I'm enjoying the hell out of the game so far. Anyone that's on the fence should definitely give it a try.

9 commentairesNot that great of a game. Overhyped by its fans. Reason why I dont play it is the Mechs. Takes away from actual gun skill.
-
Blame EA for basically blowing their load early.
-
EA knew what they were doing by sandwiching TF in the middle of BF and CoD.
-
1 commentaireFreakin' EA, cannibalizing their own sales. I hope this game gets a boost from Christmas.
-
I saw 50000 on it at one time, that's a -blam!- ton
