Doing vog with all 335s at the time and they couldn't kill the damn oracles.
The frustration was real.

I don't know why people don't realize it never got any easier after tdb. Light level be dammed.

Not sure about that. I done vog with a group as soon as possible when ntte quest first came about with a bunch of experienced players and we destroyed it. Killed a few gorgons, comfortably killed templar and atheon in first shield down and relic run. I had never found it so easy. Light level or actual level certainly has some effect.

First you probably did it on normal, which nobody really did after they got good at hard. Second , damage output was the same but tether really helps.
