13 commentairesWowwwwwwwwww I've been telling people that Nintendo is going to sneak under everyone's noses and grab the market. Westerners like to get stuck in little fads and niches, I prefer cultures and countries that like to push the bounds. Skyrim.. on the go? How in the fck are we even allowed to play Skyrim on a Nintendo console now? Yo, this could be huge. I'm more than likely "switching" to Nintendo if this pans out nicely.

Looks dope. Might not perform dope. Still love system anyway.
and it can play Splatoon :)
-
I only watch the Nintendo Switch video, just to hear the sound the console makes when the controller is connected

1 commentaireModifié par Nivalack : 10/23/2016 7:16:13 PMI just want to throw this question out there, If Nintendo threw out a high powered brick like everyone else, would you buy that brick over the one you already have?
-
I saw that Nintendo's stock dropped 6.5 points yesterday after the reveal, even Nintendo's investors are having doubts about it. I was always a Nintendo supporter, but I don't very high expectations for this system, I need more than a 3 minute video showing a few games before I'll even consider getting one.

1 commentaireAnother shitty gimmick

They went for a gimmick again.

35 commentairesI don't understand the logic here. Nintendo already owns the handheld market with the DS and with nintendo making a deal with apple to bring nintendo games to iphone they literally have the market locked down. What is the point of this? If you want to play skyrim in the car buy a laptop. In my opinion Nintendo had one job. Make a console powerful enough that third party developers want to work with it, release it in the same time frame as your competitors and then sit back and print the money from the console. I don't see anyway that third party developers would want to work on this when they could focus on the two consoles everyone already owns. Developers are already complaining about making games for two different versions of the playstation and xbox, do you really think they'll put even more in a console thats launching three years late to the game?

Just in time for my birthday! The Switch and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wind will be mine!!!

1 commentaireThe real question is
How much is it?
-
1 commentaireSo far I see Zelda and a new 3D Mario as games, I'd like to see what else they have to offer for launch other than a bunch of ported Wii U games I already own.
-
1 commentaireDoes this replace the 3ds as well? If they make a new ds I'll just get that instead.

Modifié par Tibbaryllis2 : 10/22/2016 10:48:23 PMBeing able to play mobile Skyrim or Fallout 4 would be amazing, but the real question is will the switch be capable of playing new TES titles or Fallout 5+? This is what makes me dubious about the supposed partnership with third party developers, im sure they're all more than willing to dump previously developed titles onto this. It's basically their chance to do another wave of retail priced remasters. The real question is will it get any support beyond being a port box? It must have specifications comparable to an xbox1/PS4 to be anything that developers will take seriously, but I'm not sure how it'll be able to do that and have speakable battery life at that size.
-
14 commentairesHopefully this last gen system will finally bankrupt them so I can play Zelda on either PS or Xbox I will never buy a console to play one game on
-
15 commentairesIt definitely looks cool, but alot of Nintendo's stuff looks cool. In the end they tend to be underpowered niche machines that hold exclusives hostage. If I'm buying this it will have to be significantly more powerful than my handhelds (phone, ps vita, 3ds) and significantly more convenient than my laptop .

3 commentairesGetting tired of all the gimmicks with Nintendo consoles honestly

1 commentaireModifié par Flynn : 10/20/2016 6:22:29 PMMy biggest question is battery life. Looks awesome, though.
-
1 commentaireNice idea, and having acces, apparently, to the wii u library is nice, but what other games will run on it, plus i don't see myself playing on the bus or between sport:), life is just not about gaming.
-
Modifié par gear : 10/21/2016 10:51:20 PMI plan on buying it Day 1. I haven't had a Nintendo anything since the 3DS, and that was a long time ago.
-
3 commentairesIt looks really cool, I won't lie. but what is the advantage of having it over a console that runs better? what is the advantage of having it over a laptop that is -almost- as portable and most likely runs betters with probably a better battery life? it seems they are creating something that is a few years behind already
-
People hating on it when they haven't even tried it yet. Save your judgments for when you actually play it
-
39 commentairesIt's a wiiu...almost exactly
-
2 commentaireswhy is skyrim on there?
-
1 commentaireSo it's the return of the Wii u with better graphics but it's more portable then ever before!
I think Nintendo hit the right market for this, now I can play Pokemon and Super Mario anywhere!
-
6 commentairesNintendo will probably do ok with this but they will never dominant the market with their kiddy games. Almost everything Nintendo does is gimmicky. It looks and sounds very cool but when you finally get it the excitement wears off quick.

1 commentaireNow, I know that Skyrim is only a show of Bethesdas' support for the console as it hasn't been announced for release, but how -blam!-ing cool is mobile Skyrim?! On a more speculative note, the Switch development kits use the Nividia X1 chip, which is not as powerful as current gen, but is a step up from PS3/360. However, Nividia has an X2 chip coming out soon, and Nividia usually releases new tech in the spring...right around the launch window of the Switch. Plus, it (the X1) boasts customizable software. I don't the specifics, I'm not a tech guy, I'm just going off what I read.
