With all this attention on the Owl Sector and the virus that is currently spreading among our Guardians, I feel there is something even more important needs to be addressed. It's something that every single Guardian has ignored until now. Up until this point, every player has believed that this was a straight forward game: you shoot, you loot, and you toot your Sparrow horn in victory. We were all horribly mistaken. The Destiny universe is not one-sided. We Guardians are not allowed to do whatever we want, whenever we want, without consequences.
The first indicator was a Grimoire card--something easily overlooked. In the Cabal 4 Ghost Fragment, the transcript states "Guardians foraging for equipment, dancing, and performing acrobatics with light vehicles". Meaning, the statement describes how we search for loot, dance when we want, and perform tricks on our Sparrows. The Cabal were watching us and actively reported our behavior as players. Might I remind you that the Grimoire, as of now, are the main source of lore for Destiny. This means that the behavior we show in-game has permanently affected the lore of the game.
As I've suggested, this isn't the only indicator either. In the new website that is tracking the spread of the virus that is currently affecting Guardians, under the "Brilliance 3.2" tab of records, section "OS-I6", one of the persons talking say "They're Guardians, Quist. Means the Light has cooked their brains. Haven't you seen them dancing in the Plaza, for no reason, with no music at all?" Again, our behaviors, such as randomly dancing in the Tower, have affected the lore of the game but this time our actions were judged by a character. Negatively, at that. In fact, it could be surmised that our behavior directly affected the handling of the outbreak.
If our actions, as seemingly harmless as they seem, have a direct effect on the world that we are apart of, should we not be more mindful of them? Who's to say that the effects will stop there? What if using items such as Red Death, Thorn, or either of the Ahamkara armor pieces (all of which are heavily scorned by the Vanguard) bring about negative changes to the Tower, such as alienation, increased prices at vendors, less rewards from activities, or even new enemies to be brought upon the Light?
What I'm trying to warn everyone about is this: our actions have consequences. Not only that, but these are permanent effects. They are chiseled into the lore of the Destiny universe. We must be mindful of our actions from here onward. Even small things such as the items we use or actions we make may have enormous influence on the future of Destiny. I encourage everyone to read up on the Grimoire, learn the story of Destiny, and behave accordingly. This is no longer a game. This is our game.

1 commentaireWow you try typed and thought up all that. Let me guess? No Fagina in your life I'm betting.

Lolol. Get outside today. It's just a video game.

32 commentairesAlright, Guardians. Looks like the Cabal have failed to report our teabagging ritual. We need to drag our crotches on their faces until a grimoire card is made describing that action. I believe in all of you.

Damnit Stalker, leave me alone!

If I had any emotional attachment to my character I might care. This game is getting ready to enter its 3rd year and I still don't know my name although I decided sometime ago to name my character Dr. Shen for what I think are obvious reasons. Grimoire cards are someones idea of a joke.

I think it's cool that lore is being slightly influenced by our actions, but I feel the tone of this theory if far too serious. No, dancing will never have negative consequences and I IMO nothing we the players do will have any significant impact on the story. (Obviously aside from the scripted stuff, I.E. Killing Oryx.)

that a whole lot of bs you wrote there its a GAME a GAME i tell you

Very true we should of learned from killing crota Always gotta remember there's a natural order of things- change it bad things could happen the universe unbalanced. For there to be dark light must always be present

5 commentairesI've been posting this for a long time I totally agree with you but until rasputins warmind is opened this stuff will continue to plague us and it's going to get worse soon the tower will be invaded our only hope is decoding rasputins warmind I believe level 6 last array has a huge part in it . We have done nothing to take back our solar system in 2 years I believe we missed a year 1 side mission which will re activate Rasputin. I've been posting this for at least a year and all I get is hate mail and now look at what we're dealing with. I have lots of evidence but people just will not help. Bungie has even given us private match making so we can kill our friends that we were supposed to be working with. They have exploited our own emotions and hatred and willingness to kill our friends!!!

Lol k, nerd.

Modifié par Walroof : 9/17/2016 1:19:39 PMThis sounds like something bungie would do, "red death becoming good and everyone using it? Time to increase the price of everything from vanguard."

Weird post

What kind of ass backwards mental gymnastics did I just witness

3 commentairesFun idea. I believe bungie has its plan, and those consequences are more or less scripted. The only action we do that has actual consequence is whine about weapons in PvP until they get nerfed everywhere. Anything else is already on their radar, and will happen, regardless of what we do in-game.
-
Bungie should put a Shaxx comment in when a Guardian repeatedly uses crouch and has him say something about the T-Bagging. They might have to do a couple lines, now that I think about it.
-
Space zombies do not think about consequences. They just charge into battle and kill everything.
