Someone got basic AI working in Forge.
To start, this is not my Reddit post. If you guys want to see all of the cool stuff people are learning with Forge for Windows 10, I recommend you check out [url=https://m.reddit.com/r/halo/]r/Halo[/url].
It's pretty great to be a Halo player right now. Halo 5 is still getting content updates and Forge on PC and all the stuff that is happening because of it.
A cool speculation that I heard is that Halo 3A will launch later next year on Xbox One and PC. It will be a Scorpio launch title and, since Halo 3 had splitscreen, Halo 3A will too. It seems possible and I am excited.
Back to now though, [b]what do you guys think about all of the cool stuff that is being pumped out by 343 and the Halo community?[/b]
Edit spoiler:[spoiler][b]Edit1:[/b] Something cool that I learned, 343 has a goal to make it so that people will be able to make full campaigns in Forge if they want to. That sounds awesome. Forge is already great and it will only get better.[/spoiler]

That's pretty cool. I'm kinda hoping for custom halo warzone firefight maps, I mean there's a lot of amazing combos being made with the weapon "glitch." It would be cool to see how effective they are against ai. I remember in reach you could make custom firefight modes. I would love to be able to edit warzone maps and put weapon spawns down. See how a mythic warden stands up against the ad victoruim laser or a guass laser. One can hope.

29 commentairesI believe Tom French said somewhere that their goal for halo 6 is to make forge extensive enough to the point of where players can basically make their own campaigns. I guess this shows that it's very possible.

I haven't paid attention since Halo 4 (mostly because I switched to PS4 for that sweet Bloodborne exclusivity), but it seems to me that 343i has been doing a pretty good job with Halo 5 outside of the single player. [spoiler]In case I gave the wrong impression, I actually really enjoyed Halo 4. Multiplayer was really fun to me even with loadouts, and I thought the campaign was fantastic aside from the Didact being completely wasted as a villain.[/spoiler]

I was planning on getting Rise of Iron and probably will, but I feel like I've waited too long to buy Halo 5. Just kills me to buy more than 2 games a month, and I bought the newest Naruto fighting game a week ago. It was on sale and I HAD TO.

Also trying to perfect a flight between islands on the forge islands map. And launching mongooses, mantises, and scorpions off it.
