Buff The Thorn
Since RoI is bring back the beloved Thorn i might adress that it needs a buff. Some may think it doesnt but here me out. The Thorn's burn only does 2 damage and ticks to add to 6 damage and if it stacks with the extra shot it adds to 10-12. The Thorn hits a headshot at 79 damage and a body shot at 53 damage, so 2 headshots and a bodyshot can kill like a normal handcannon
If you land 2 body shots and 1 headshot the burn will still kill. I have been using this weapon in the Crucible to see how useful it still and it can be easliy be outguned by todays meta. To make this gun better in the crucible i think the burn needs to be buffed to 3 or 4 damage and Final Round should be changed to Luck in the Chamber to add the ability for two shot kills. This will not be OP because there is only a 1/9 chance for the extra damage. This would not only restore power to the Thorn it will make it Exotic again because right now it feels Legendary to Blueish.

Why though. Even without the burn it's still equally as effective as pretty much any other handcannon in its arch type. It's just unnecessary the gun preforms fine.

8 commentairesI agree. Good players will be fine anyway. It hardly feels exotic. I know a lot of players don't want it back to being good because they have problems adjusting.

2 commentairesIt's exotic because it's the only primary in game that can negate health regen. That's pretty dang usefull. When it had 6 or 7 dmg tick, don't remember which, you could two shot CONSISTENTLY. Not like hawk moon which was luck. It was broken.

Changing final round to LiTC might be the only good thing for it. Maybe a little stability boost. But the burn is fine

1 commentaireBuff it back to pre-april upadate, anyone who had a problem with it at that stage should really go see someone for Ptsd, seems like each time something gets too strong bungie responds by nerfing it into the ground (thorn, mythoclast, high impact pulse, high impact autos, fusions for most of Y1, bladedancers, sunsingers)

2 commentairesThree body shots should kill a normal person after the poison damage goes through. Pre-April update basically. But the Artifact should make the poison feel as weak and useless as it does now. That's how I want it to work.
