Finished my first playthrough. It was an amazing experience. Huge fan of the series overall and this one definitely lives up to the other ones.
Overall, I would rate it a 9/10 overall. Story and gameplay are a solid 10 but there's way too much climbing which brings it down slightly for me.
If I had to rank all the games, I would put it this way. Keep in mind, this is my personal opinion.
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Uncharted 4: A Thief's End
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Uncharted 1: Drake's Fortune
4 and 2 are virtually a tie in my opinion but 3 is the best one for me.
If there's any questions about the series, then feel free to ask! And yes I will be going for the platinum trophy. I have a platinum in the first three and won't be able to live with myself if I leave this alone

Modifié par Psychic Donuts : 7/13/2016 3:56:32 PMToo much climbing? In Uncharted? That's like IGN saying "too much water".

You're pretty late on the uncharted 4 train

They need to get rid of that stupid speed run trophy. I hate games with speed run trophies, they make playthroughs a chore and extremely stressful for me, because one little mistake, one second too late, and it makes you restart the whole damn playthrough, you basically can't die and have to do everything perfectly, what the hell were they thinking, cutscenes and loading both take up time. Crushing was soooo much easier than this speedrun bullcrap...

I agree it's too much climbing, but for everything else and the experience I had it's a 10/10 for me, unforgettable

3 commentairesModifié par Tartan 118 : 7/11/2016 3:59:10 PMI think it was far and away the best of the series*. Not only did the narrative feel much more mature (no stupid zombies/monsters halfway through) and character-driven, but the variety of locales and how simply gorgeous it looks were all breathtaking. It was an absolute blast. My only major qualm was that they ended the game with
a quicktime event that was very hard to read. Half the time, Rafe swiped from one side, and Nate wouldn't parry, even though I pressed the right button. Plus I was expecting at least one death, but I guess that's on me for misunderstanding ND's phrasing: 'It'd be very hard for Nate to continue afterwards.' What, just because he has a child?
It and Inside are two of my favourite games this year. Doom is fun too. As for a question to ask, did you feel this one had the best shooting of the lot? Because the others had pretty shonky gunplay and AI. Especially number 1. *I should clarify: each one got much better than the previous. So whilst 1 was a shonky, cliche, but gorgeous jungle romp, 2 was a genuinely decent game that fell short in a few ways. 3 was spectacular but still a bit flawed (the pacing was awful, especially through that -blam!-ing shipyard), and 4 is an easy contender for one of my favourite games of the generation so far. Probably the single best linear adventure I've played since BioShock Infinite.

Uncharted is obviously a good story type game all around. Even though I don't have a PlayStation, I watch the game movie time from time because the story is so good

Do you think another game will ever happen?
