Questions on transferring from Xbox 360 to Xbox one
I recently got an Xbox one and got the legendary edition with it I didn't redeem the taken king code on the account all my characters from Xbox 360 were on because I didn't think the characters would transfer to next generation I'd really like to be able to use my characters I've had since before dark below. I'd prefer not to have to pay for the taken king again as I just bought it on 360 a few months back. Why is it that the game dosent recognise that I've already bought the taken king on that account regardless of last generation vs next generation

6 commentairesWhen you buy a game you're actually buying a license and not the content. So when you bought The Taken King on the Xbox 360, you bought the license that allows you to play it on that console alone. If you wish to play on the Xbox one you will need to purchase it again to receive a Xbox one license. Even though the consoles are the same company they are still two very different consoles. Your characters and progress will transfer to the One as they are tied to your GamerTag.
