They continue to screw up and rarely listen to feedback that is being shouted in their face.
-
They are trying the wrong way and too stubborn to change

12 commentairesWell they have all but ruined pvp.. Pretty much every update they break something in the game. Which is pretty pathetic. Sbmm, extremely poor foresight with weapon balance, laggers benefiting from poor connections, people being invisible to other players and only able to do damage with grenades or supers, the change to special ammo that only uncovered an exploit that yielded more special than simply starting with rounds, breaking arc blade hit detection, nerfing gunslingers, shadestep cancel was a thing, killed hammer titans instead of just bringing them down a bit, some pve supers blew ass for two years, rip nightfall radiant light, faction drops inconsistent, most ultras are just health bars, the list is extensive. Don't get me wrong. Even with all that crap I loved this game for a long long time. No more though. They aren't doing a good job. I don't have confidence in bungie as a developer. Kind of bummed about it too. I was genuinely excited for ROI before they broke the game last week.

Because we paid for a finished product. And Destiny is.........well.........an unbalanced unfinished product. When I paid for games like the Gears of War and Mass Effect series, I was content with these purchases as these are finished polished products with high replay value. I can't say the same about Destiny. Once Bungie partnered with Activision, the quality of their "product" they call Destiny went downhill.

Modifié par goeagles3973 : 6/24/2016 9:26:01 PMCould understand the hate during year 1 because of the huge misleading marketing campaign and the final product and changes they made during the first year. A lot of people preordered and felt duped. I hated them big time after not getting TTK and the game I had was just a shell of the game I bought. . But anyone who hates on Bungle after buying TTK have no one to blame but themselves. They knew who they were getting into bed with, and there was a years' worth of research material to make that decision.

Modifié par Bajka : 6/24/2016 8:53:25 PMThey don't know...how to try. They try in the wrong direction...

When I'm paying money for a product or service, the last thing I want to hear from the company is...'we're trying'

There is a clear disconnect between Bungie's actions and their words. I think people already anticipate Bungie making bad decisions or lying with each official communication. So when they actually make a mistake, people are ready and waiting to lay down the hurt. Does Bungie deserve it? Thats an opinion, and to each their own. But when Bungie does things like increasing point penalties in CoE for taking your time. They come out and say its to save people from spending hours in CoE going for the highest possible scores... when in reality the people who suffer most are the solo runners now unable to hit 30k. It comes across as dishonest and feels like Bungie creates artificial barriers to prolong play time. Another example would be the last comment I read from a Bungie dev about SRL. He made the comment that people were complaining about getting too much loot, implying they were too generous with loot drops. In reality, people were complaining about getting 50 helmets that were LOWER light than their current helmet. Its painfully obvious that Bungie ignores feedback like 80% of the time. Anything they deem "design" and not "balance" or "bug" is somehow not up for debate. My opinion is... if Bungie doesn't want to listen, they deserve the hate.

Modifié par Swarthy_Grandeur : 6/24/2016 4:05:45 PMThey can try harder Jk

This is part of it. https://youtu.be/0WCj0ISBbCI So if Bungie shits on their own employees. How do you think they look at a nobody?

4 commentairesMany people don't understand how complex and complicated coding is.

Because they are safe behind their keyboards. 99.9% of this community would never say this stuff to their faces.
-
5 commentairesTrying? Only loosers try.....winners go home and -blam!- the prom queen!!
-
12 commentairesThey're a professional company in the entertainment industry. They don't get points for trying. This isn't grade school for crying out loud. They may be trying but they aren't succeeding, which is why they don't get any more of my money.
-
It's a love hate relationship, even though they made me give up my warlock due to the reverse effects and in-effects of the patch on them. I have moved to my hunter, in the past 20 games of crucible i have gone more positive than ever on it , my warlock would still be great if they fix the reverse effect of VK
-
I mean sure they're trying but not only do they have an entire community telling them what they did wrong and what they did right but they decide to change things that no one complains about and some times it doesn't seem like it (no hate i still love you bungie)
-
You must be new here bungie has screwed up every dam update and broke three things for every one thing they fix
-
Modifié par Ghost_Of_Primus : 6/22/2016 8:56:06 PMGo back to sleep, Luke Smith. Being in the industry for more than a decade, "They're trying" doesn't cut it. They will happily take our money, but then make everything we paid for obsolete or useless by saying, "We don't want people playing like that". Bunch of greedy bitches.
-
If by trying you mean, making a series of bad decisions, then yes, they are trying.. I think they need to take a chill pill, and relax, it seems they're in panic mode, which is never good for anyone.. Panic fix this, panic patch that, before you know it you have the whole game in an uproar.. They are trying yes.. but doing it in the wrong way.
-
Because they lie to us, they cheat us, and basically they have a team of second rate programers that create more bugs than fixes. Players/consumers are tired of this. You would think that a company that created a game with a 10 year life plan can get thier shit together. Only to see week after week they cant.
-
They're not even trying
Fixed it for ya
-
Modifié par Star Gazer2 : 6/21/2016 5:56:38 PM
They're trying
Proof? Look, the game is good, really good, but Bungie hasn't given us much reason to like them when they lie, misguide us, over-hype, and then follow up with month long silent treatments. It's a real love/hate relationship. "I love Destiny, but I hate Bungie."
-
Modifié par Swiftlock : 6/22/2016 8:44:52 PMAfter all the hype and hooplah and corporate influence, Bungie has had two years to "try" and yet Destiny is still suffering from rudimentary design problems that have plagued the game since launch. At this point, I believe players have the right to be frustrated, but they only behave that way because they want to see the game get better, especially with how much untapped potential it has. Don't be hard on the complainers. Let them vent. It is justified.
-
They're trying, I blurted out a laugh from my wonderful space in cubicle land. They sell a product, they're not a contestant in the special olympics.

Modifié par Dampfanator : 6/22/2016 5:25:26 PM😂 they've been "trying" for two years and still can't get iron banner running right
