Grasp of Malok is NOT overpowered
Grasp of Malok is not overpowered. Here is why. The grasp of Malok is a pulse rifle. Pulse rifle intended design was to be optimal for medium range and useable by someone with better thumbs then all you complainers at close and longer ranges. The only reason you think it's overpowered is because everyone has one. Not one person put up a post before omnigul was the nightfall saying it was overpowered. [b]NOT ONE -blam!-ING PERSON[/b]. You people are about literally ruin one of the rarest guns in the game because your ass has shitty gun skills. Please shut the -blam!- up. And [b]GIT GUD[/b].
Edit: Yes I know it's now rare now, but before this week it was completely rare to see

2 commentairesI agree! And to those whiners, here are some things to think about: The difference between Grasp of Malok and Doctrine of Passing or The Last Word is .... That's right, you actually have to spam the trigger! DoP and TLW are one press buttons, aim and score! Grasp of Malok - You have to have steady hands, fast fingers and be good at strafing while you're spamming that trigger! And if your look sensitivity is maxed out, you'll have to re-adjust that. Not only that, you'll have to adjust your agility level too! Stop comparing GoM with other guns, because it is not OP.

Bro, I agree. It takes some skill to keep the cross hairs on someone while quickly bursting that weapon. It's not OP people just don't realize the amount of precision that occurs while keeping focus on hitting your target.

I have a skorris revenge rolled to god status Grasp is not broken at all, takes a patience and skill to kill in three bursts. We aren't talking about thorn 2hk killing potential. Not even doctrine level of spray and pray kill potential If anyone is curious about my skorri I'll get it on my Titan...

Not overpowered but after this last week overused. Overuse brings more nerfs than anything else.....and now it got farmed to hell and back. My buddy got like 14 of them in no time at all.

Remember when thorn wasn't considered overpowered? Then everybody started getting it? It's kind like that. Nobody really cares about s good weapon because there isn't many people using it, but once everybody is using one of the best weapons in the game people want it to be taken down a bit.

3 commentairesThat logic. Nobody noticed how OP GoM was because it was so rare. Now many people own one, and the crucibabies start to feel its impact, and it hurts. I wonder how long that party is going to last before Bungie crashes it.

How good of a roll is counter balance, perfect balance, and grenadier? I tested it a few times in crucible and was not dissapointed.

Yeah, Bungie generally nerfs weapons based on their charts that show over-use over an extended period of time. Here's the deal though, the average player wouldn't actually be "over-using" these weapons for "extended periods" if they were not in fact getting the best results out of that particular weapon. Not necessarily definitively OP, but it's definitely an indicator that something may need to be tweaked to bring said weapon back in line with the rest. Right now everyone is using the GoM because it's now a lot easier to acquire, and it's legit really good...but we'll have to wait and see if everyone is still using it two or three IB cycles to see if it's actually TOO good.
