Precision Throwing Knife needs some loving.
Dear Bungie,
I don't understand a world where a Titan shoulder charge can kill me instantly but a throwing knife to the face doesn't. Which takes more skill to do?
Please show good shots some more lovin. We actually deserve them.

Throwing knives are way too easy too use too be a 1hk. Maybe once you're at a certain range like say, 20-25 feet away from the target it one hits.

And if you aren't very good with them just imagine playing against someone that is, and is non stop one shotting you with a knife that immediately cools down and has a back up knife just in case. Wouldn't be much fun. Ps. I main gunslinger and love my throwing knives and trip mines, but I know there's no way that could last if they implemented it. Even though it takes more accuracy, just look at all the salt revolving around firebolts with touch of flame/Viking funeral, and the wombo combo. And those things don't come with 2 charges and an immediate reset on kill. Not hating on you, just sayin... Also, running a handcanon pairs really nicely with throwing knives. No level of armor can survive 1 headshot from the primary followed by a throwing knife headshot. Depending on the handcanon impact and the opponents armor, 1 crit from the handcanon and a knife bodyshot can also do the trick.

I have always thought they needed to be 1 hit kill to the head. Im no throwing knife expert, but its a difficult shot to make. If I kill or get killed by 1 it's usually from the burn anyway.

No, a throwing knife should not one shot and it's moronic to suggest that it should because "someone running into you one shots you". Well guess what, a throwing knife does more damage than a high calibre bullet does. So, trying to argue one over the other is a complete waste of time. You don't need to be a "good shot" to land a throwing knife headshot with the amount of assistance the game gives you to do it.

The only thing that annoys me about them is that kills don't go toward solar ability kill bounties.

1 commentaireThat would be way over powered. The hit box on throwing knife crit shots is massive. Maybe if the reduced the size of the hit box. And yes shoulder charge is stupid.

1 commentaireThrowing knives need nerfing, and that's coming from a Warlock!! I was in a game of Skirmish about an hour ago, got teamshot down, one ran, self-res'd and got one burst Hawksaw one hit throwing knifed and spawn killed off my res before i could even throw out a melee. ;_;

11 commentairesI never understood how a fist and force push could do more damage than a knife in Destiny, I mean when I put a knife in you shouldn't that be more effective than me punching you or giving you a high five? Or when I put a knife in your skull I would think you would be dead at that point... But this is Destiny where the brain doesn't effect you in the slightest! Herp derp!

Just saying i think hunters are getting nerfed.. Beacuse the hunter has so many problems. With the melee. Blink strike Killing from the front and wombo combo is to strong. And Making you 1 shot? The knife freakin has aim assist! And think you have the Perk that allows you to have 2 and with monte Carlo that would be to strong.
