What's so bad about it?
Why does reforging weapons and gear make you feel so threatened?
It seems as though it's an exaggerated way of saying "good" rolls.
Therefore, of course you'd want good rolls over crap rolls. Who in their correct mind wouldn't?
If cheap and easy reforging were to be implemented, then variety would increase as good rolls could be given on any weapon/armor and it would cut down the grind against crap RNG.
The enemy of variety, then, is the bandwagon effect when players try to mimic the latest skilled YouTuber.
Those that oppose cheap and easy reforging do so because they simply aren't willing to deal with the challenge of other players using good rolled weapons/gear against them.
Ready.
Set.
GO!!!
Edit: No one who opposes the cheap and easy reforging idea has given me a solid and reasonable reason, without salt or Butthurt as their motive for the argument, why it shouldn't be reinstated.
Therefore, cheap and easy reforging DOES SEEM to be most reasonable to be brought back.
Also, I've noticed that no one has given a reasonably response as to why good rolls shouldn't be easily available to everyone else.

5 commentairesI think that you should get a reforge token every time you rank up the gunsmith

2 commentaireseveryone had god rolls. every one

1 commentaireReforging legendaries will discourage grinding. According to Bungie, grinding is integral to retaining their player, excuse me, customer base. Some people simply enjoy grinding and they feel that if someone could simply reroll a weapon they grinded so hard for is unfair. Personally, I'm for reforging, but I'm not holding my breath.

Fu.ck no

4 commentairesAs long as it's not so cheap. Say 7000 glimmer and 100 motes of light. There's no limit to glimmer and motes you can earn, so it won't be slowed waiting for the weekly reset.
-
2 commentairesBungie gives no shits if we're having fun. They want us to keep logging the hours while we grind our asses off.
-
1 commentaireI'd say it's worth it for unique strike loot I've got a job now, and I can't waste 72 hours a week farming a hand cannon I had last year because bungie decides -blam!-ing g with my time is a substitute for weapon diversity, the problem stems from a lack of weapons and the class system making everything basically just a skin So if I want my fatebringer back I have to go farm Venus, if I want the drop I have to waste days, once I get the drop I get exumed and airborne or some completely bullocks roll and if I think about how my life is slowly crawling to an end and I'm wasting my time farming a strike I know better than my old friends house, well, frankly, I loose respect for this system designed to arbitrarily engineer a false sense of progression In a nutshell Ain't nobody got time for that, give us rerolls
-
Bungie wants you to grind, so they will not put reforge in the game again

1 commentaireBefore I spent time grinding for the grasp of Malok I had 1 day and some change in strikes. Now I have 2 and a half days. Guess how many of those sweet grasps I got. One just one with a terrible role. I am not even a fan of pulse rifles. Please bring back reforging so I don't have to feel like I wasted all that time trying to get something I don't want.

6 commentairesAll the people in the comments saying it's a bad idea because "It made crucible boring and stale" and "Everyone would just use the same weapons all the time" are obviously fucking stupid or trolling. How the fuck does that differ from now? Someone using a rocket launcher? Always has Grenade and Horshoes (usually truth) Someone using a machine gun? Always Quillims Someone using a Fast RoF Auto rifle? Always Arminius-D/Doctrine Someone Using a Scout Rifle? Always Mida Someone using a Hand Cannon? Always Hawkmoon/Eyas Luna Someone using a Pulse Rifle? Always Hawksaw/Grasp of Malok Someone using a sniper rifle? Always 1000-yard or Longbow Someone using a shotgun? Always Conspiracy Theory-D/Invective Someone using a Fusion Rifle? The Vacany or similar. Someone using a Side Arm? Iron Wreath or Havoc Pigeon What would re-forging change about all this? Not having to wade through 50+ packages or wait for the armsday crap week after week?

1 commentaireWhile you are correct some people simply don't want anyone else having good rolls there's another major contributing factor. For a lot of people they want to feel like they got lucky or "earned" the god-roll gun. This is achieved by making the chances of a god-roll drop super small and requiring tons and tons of sucking on RNG. But if that same roll is available via reforging it basically doesn't matter the cost (which is why so many people suggest asininely high costs) people will still feel that it "devalues" their RNG based acquisition by making that roll "too easy to get" (which is anything less than 10x the work they themselves "put in for it") and reduces the perceived playtime available (for example people who will, if possible, glitch/cheat their way to Best in Slot gear in a given game and then complain there's nothing to earn). In the end it's just "someone else having it takes away from the special snowflakeyness of me having it" while they roll on the floor kicking and screaming.

I do think reforging was useful however I would say that it would be better if there were limitations on it. Not necessarily the price to reforge but perhaps how many times a certain weapon could be reforged
-
12 commentairesYou need and expensive and hard cost. I suggest 100 legendary marks 10 strange coins 1 engram (of the same type)
-
9 commentairesIt should cost 150 legendary marks and nothing else

4 commentairesModifié par sharkhunter81 : 6/5/2016 4:05:06 AMI don't agree with either option. I think it could be in the game, but not for free or easy. Opposite of that really. More like one weapon a week and make it so costly you wouldn't want or could afford to do more. 15000 glimmer just to initiate reroll and then the motes and maybe weapon parts for the actual rolls. All I know if that it should cost like 10 exotic shards or something. It shouldn't be easy or cheap.
-
2 commentairesBring reforging back to how it was. Whats wrong people people getting the weapon they want? i for one dont have time to farm boring ass strikes to get a good weapon. Lets be honest most ways of getting weapons in this game are really unrewarding when it comes to getting a good roll, not to mention the fact that Destiny gameplay is stale after a week of playing it.
-
2 commentairesReforge should come back but just do it the same way they did yr1. Weapon parts, MoL, and glimmer. Nothing too costly but at the same time not too merciful.
-
5 commentairesThis was done in the house of wolves expansion for fel winter's sniper and I never ever want to see that again grind for your sht

Delete/Buff the hell out of underused perks to at least make them not a burden on your gun. Bring back the full perk pool for each weapon type as long as it makes sense (like outlaw on a fusion rifle wouldn't work but bring back reactive reload pulse rifles) Bring back reforging because the divide in perk quality was the only thing wrong with it. Or buff drop rate of all crucible/vanguard playlist weapons by 300%. Because seeing only one Eyasluna in half a year of pvp and getting a terrible roll on it is just awful.
-
Modifié par BRAZACK : 6/5/2016 6:15:46 PMMuhuhahha, we caught them....34% are the ones constantly crying for nerfs. They are the ones to blame for the sorry state the game is in.
-
It leveled the playing field because it was not just lucky people with good rolls therefore in every fire fight skill will more often determine the winner. Also who wants to spend days just to get that gun and have crappy rolls on it? Nuff said.
-
15 commentairesNo. Do 1 mission get the gun. Then sit in the tower forever reforging till you get a god roll then off to PVP to never do the mission again. If you want a god roll go farm whatever gives you the gun. Not 1 and done. Mission need more than one person doing them. This is a PVE aspect, was ment to be main focus of the game. Reforging killed PVE due to people getting one gun and reforging till it was PVP spec and then not playing any PVE any more. It sucked.
-
Just make IB guns rerollable
-
9 commentaires-blam!- no. Reforging ruined year 1
-
I problem is that in year one, weapons in general had higher stat point totals Than their year two counterparts (usually.) There were also slightly less crappy perks hogging up space. I think year two weapons should have their stat pools increased noticeably, so that bad rolls are less crippling to weapon performance. Also, most perks should be at least slightly buffed, except for the 'best' perks like Counterbalance, hand-laid stock, and a couple of others.

Bungie wont bring it back because they want you to grind for those god rolls. If we had reforging everybody and their mother would have at least one weapon of mass destruction ( probably lots of GoMs would be out in crucible). But ya i like the idea.
