This was my favorite raid and now it's pointless to do and no one will do it for fun I really miss it so much, if you guys could take this into consideration it would be much appreciated, and a vision of confluence year 2 sounds great to my ears and possibly the return of praydeths revenge year 2 if you guys could do that I'm sure we would all be very pleased and have a lot more to do on destiny I miss the days where we could do two raids every reset it was fun.

7 commentairesModifié par apec ftw : 5/24/2016 3:34:34 PMHonesty, I would LOVE year 2 VoG. Only because it feels like an actual raid. Unlike kings fall or crotas end which both feel more like extremely long strikes.

1 commentaireAs much as I would looooove to see VoC back and that vex (mmmmm.. makes me tingly) didn't bungie say something last year about how they don't want elemental primaries? But..... if you're 335, can't you just equip one anyway and still be like 320? Wtf bungie?
-
I play it for fun
-
3 commentairesGood old VoG, Bungie set the bar awful high with that little gem, I think i'll run it again before Destiny 2 comes out just for old times sake.
-
1 commentaireThey should from now on with every expansion create a cap mode for every raid. They would be at a difficulty equivalent to 1 or so above the highest current level cap (336 light or say 44 if you were going by standard XP level) and for the older raids such as VoG and Crota's End they should give you the equivalent of nightfall rewards to make it worth your while at the same time as being a challenge so it can entice old and new players. I think bringing back the likes of Vision or Fatebringer would be amazing but I don't know if bungie would do this.
-
Any xboners that want to do a VoG run later, I'll be online in about 3-4 hours. HMU.
-
Don't bring back VoG.
-
9 commentairesSo whats the point of video games? To have fun. And why do you do vog? For fun. Shouldn't that be enough or can i be mistaken?
-
They're not going to bring back some weapons in Year 2.

3 commentairesModifié par OldboyVicious : 5/24/2016 6:00:16 AMI am standing on my soap-box and what I am about to say is intended with the utmost respect for all Destiny players, gamers, and is said in the spirit of helping people have an enjoyable gaming experience.
I would love VoG to get an update. I would love the gear from VoG to drop at relevant light levels. Even without any drops, VoG is fun. If you have not played through the VoG, I would really urge you to do so just for the experience of it. Forget about drops and rewards for a little while, get your friends together, and play the VoG and enjoy it for what it is... a fantastic raid that is fun to figure out and play. I remember playing video games and when you beat the end game content, (ie- the final level/last boss) you didn't get any gear, there were no drops... it was a cut scene, roll credits, game over, then back to the title screen. If you haven't played VoG, do yourself a favor, and try to embrace that mindset. It's a game, from start to finish. The point is to figure out puzzles, defeat challenges, and win. You win from defeating the boss, being victorious, and conquering your foes. Drops are irrelevant to this process. If you really want to get the best experience, try to go in at a lower light level to make it challenging. Don't let anyone tell you "Oh, you weren't here in year one, you'll never understand the true glory of VoG, being forever 29, going in to VoG under-leveled so you had to have skill..." etc. That's all poppycock. That original VoG experience might not be available to newer players, you may not have the identical challenges and you may not go in to the raid with it being so new and mysterious, but that's okay. Your experience doesn't have to be, and it should not be, compared to anyone else's. Forge your own path, have your own fun, and get the most out of everything that is available to you. If drops really are that important to you... well... the chatterwhite shader and timebreaker sparrow are still quite usable. You'll improve your grimoire score. But genuinely, above all else, the first time I played VoG was the most fun I've had in a video game. I hope that other players would play it and enjoy it as much as I have.
And I now step off of my soap box, thank you for your time. Have fun and have a great day.

2 commentairesthere is a reason to do it though. shards and energies can be converted to motes of light or glimmer.

7 commentairesModifié par pixelmagic : 5/24/2016 8:04:26 AMIf you love and miss VoG, then go and play it. It DOES NOT need to be filled with 335 loot and level 40 enemies to make it great again. You can make it just as challenging by equipping your treasured old gear from the vault if you so wish. Hard mode is still a laugh wearing new gear. The raid is still epic, it's a year 1 activity so treat it as one. It's still worth doing. If all you want is a year 2 elemental primary or versions of the other weapons then you don't miss the raid that much. You just miss the weapons. Every time this gets posted there's a tonne of responses so fire teams shouldn't be an issue. This game is 2 years old in September. Is it really so hard to make your own fun on old activities??? Do they have to put everything on a plate and make it current for you to be bothered? Just play the game.
-
6 commentairesNo, old raids should stay y1. What they really need to bring back is Vex Mythoclast and Necrochasm. That way they would still be relevant, and, if you already played the crap out of it (and got thoose weapons), you don't "need" to do it again. Before you say something, i got the vex after 40 atheon kills...

Just make the rewards infusable
-
I'm up for VOG. I'm going to collect certain weapons and armor for my characters.
-
Just needs vamping up Some of the hidden areas opened with new places to explore Guns being made to 335 And the BIG ONE! What did many of us like about the vog that subsequent raids haven't had?? Secrets!! We loved the secrets hidden in vog Look at the frenzy that takes place when someone thinks they've found something new that may open a locked exotic? How many hrs did people waste searching vog for hidden stuff? I'll say it again, bungie were on to a winner with the secret thing and have thrown it away since Bring back hidden stuff, bring back cracking secrets It lasts far far longer than crappy new content that people are constantly screaming out for! (And at no extra cost!)
-
9 commentairesI want both the raids to be updated for year 2. The gear sets look sick and those raids were awesome!
-
I think all the raids should have a difficult setting at the current level. And the gear needs a revamp. The house of wolves POE gear was what I expected out of raid armor perks, but the perks you do get on other raid armor, in my opinion, are not even noticeable.
-
I love it but trying to explain it to some newbies is horrible. You'd think they'd understand what guard the confluxes means, don't even get me started on the teleporting at Atheon.
-
Hey are you keen to do vault of glass now?
-
4 commentairesI don't see why they should. The raid is still there it's still fun as hell to get the vog gear out and run through it You kids just want your elemental primaries back
-
I've been wishing for this and crota for what a good 8 months now
-
OMG...not again a thread...
-
No thanks!! I played enough of that! We need new content not old rehashed stuff.

3 commentairesModifié par Dynamo Ultima : 5/24/2016 3:11:39 AMI know if I were a game developer, and I spent all my time crafting the experience that was the Year 1 content and raids, I'd hate to see it become insignificant. I put in all that hard work, and for what? I've personally spoken to many Year 2 players who have barely even heard of let alone played the Vault and Crota's End. And if they have, well you can bet your Mythoclast they haven't given them so much as a glance. Why? Because it is a fruitless effort to learn the mechanics of a raid that rewards players with irrelevant gear. What can be gained now from raiding the Vault of Glass in this restrictive, near option-less Year 2 environment? Nostalgia. Memories. A few motes from the traded materials. How... disappointing. I may not have had much time to bask in the glory of Year 1 raids, but I know that nonetheless, it is an experience that deserves to remain immortalized within the fabric of the Destiny universe. Instead the Vault is vacant, Crota's End, is empty, and Bungie themselves seem quite content with leaving it at that; choosing to sentence a good chunk of an already content-starved Destiny to rot.

1 commentaireand Crota. Would be fun to Sword Crota again
