I Miss The Vex Mythoclast
Such a cool, original looking weapon, I miss it, lets have it back please.

I miss my mythoclast sometimes as well, until I re-equip it. As Y2 filth I have no nostalgia for this gun in it's prime but I still think it's fantastic.

I would prefer this or even Pocket Infinity back before Ice Breaker, Thorn and Gjahallhorn. All the "fun" weapons were left in the dust.

Oh and a note to Bungie. If you don't want primaries to have elements thats fine. But PLEASE let exotics be an exception! Otherwise we run in to the Necrochasm issue. Where exotic primaries feel like novelty weapons. EDIT: I feel sorry for the Takentots who never knew the Mythoclast's true power.

I feel this way with all the elemental primaries. We now have this thing called small arms that would make other primaries useful during nightfalls, which was really the only place the elemental primaries shined. Plus, the lack of elemental shields in the current nightfalls also really do lower there value. The reasoning bungie gave for removing them was they want other weapons to be used, well that still really isn't happening as planned. Prior to year two I used a lot more weapons then I currently am. I feel like I use 3 different heavies consistently, one or two legendary specials, and one primary, currently. Depending on mods in the PoE or nightfall, I do use some different exotics and such, but it is only when the mods make sense. For example, this week's nightfall, the telesto works very well at the door, you can pepper the groups below and make shorter work of all the ads. Other then that, it doesn't really get used, which is a shame because it is a cool weapon, it's just that there is better choices. Point is, I think Bungie should stop limiting our chooses, and start expanding them.

I remember Bungie making some comment about the Vex never making a comeback. Something about frozen in time or some shit.
