Vault of Glass Raid =)
So I'm a year two player, never got to experience the Vault of Glass until today. My friends took me along for a quick raid and it was freaking awesome!
So we kill the first boss and Fatebringer, freaking Fatebringer drops for me I freaked out for my first time running the raid.
After that we discussed how awesome the exotic sniper "Ice Breaker" is and I really needed to get one. So I made the comment I guess I'll buy legacy Engrams from Xur to try and get it and literally not two minutes later we open a random hidden chest and out drops Ice Breaker for me! XD I freaked out lol
At the end of the Raid I also received the Vision of Confluence scout rifle and the Shattered Vault Cloak =)
Good times, so much fun. I wish I had been a year one player.

That describes my first VoG completely. Except I got the icebreaker at the end and the cloak in the chest.

VoG is the best. First time I did it, I did it with randoms dutch people I met through LFG. Never played Destiny with other. It was so much fun, really, you have no idea. Stil play with these guys and we also meet up once in a while for a bbq. VoG is the way to go ;)

Glad you got to experience the best content in the game. I love VoG. Fatebringer is my favorite gun in the game. And Shattered Vault cloak is my FAVORITE cloak in the game. Really wish I could still use it.

Glad you enjoyed it. I ran it once with randoms. There were 3 low level players that were being carried and I hated it. Took forever. Rewards were shit. Never did it again.

I hate you. If you had also said you happened to get Vex, I'd probably hunt you down too. :p I've run VoGa few times and my drops :) ave been mostly shite. Never any of those weapons. Ever. :( Still, glad you enjoyed possibly the best endgame content Destiny has offered so far.

I never really played VoG. I only joined at the end and got the chatterwhite shader but I never truly experienced the raid.

Believe it or not that's probably one of the few luckier VoG Story runs you'll hear. VoG is an epic raid for many reasons but it's also known to have one of the worst RNG in Destiny. Just ask the old members of the Forever 29 club. It was a big club, if they formed a faction they can probably kick the Vanguard off the tower.

This is why year one is better , the guns the raids and just overall experience of the game was just a blast. I never got tired of anything in year one i raided every week until the dark below came out. I hipe that bungie brings it all up to date for us

I stole this idea from a YouTube video just make the VOG gear drop at 3 light but be able to infuse other stuff into it exactly how the treasure boxes work (by gear I mean armor)

2 commentairesI've been playing since year one, but I never even bothered to hit max level before ttk. I kinda just played the campaign and didn't touch the game until ttk came out. It really wasn't as good before year 2, believe me.

We just got a group together last night to run VOG as myself and one other were trying to finish the "no time to explain" quest. We wrecked VOG and loved it! So for giggles we ran the Crota raid as well... still glitchy as F, but we had fun and after almost two years of running it I FINALLY got the Crux of Crota so I could upgrade the eidolon ally that has been sitting in my vault for eons into Nechrochasm! What an epic night! I truly miss those old raids.

1 commentaireI was trawling LFG a while back trying to put a group on PS4 together to run VoG but only running Y1 gear and weapons. You know......to make it more challenging and fun. Suffice to say it was a total failure but was worth a shot for some nostalgia...
