The fact that Antarctica has daylight, all day, has been urged as proof discounting flat earth theory. However, it is probable that a second sun exists, and spotlights only the portions of Antarctica that get missed by the illumination of the primary sun. (See above gif). Also, Antarctica is a ring of of ice and tundra that encircles the disk, holding back the oceans. Remember: suns are smaller and much closer to the earth's surface, making the existence of a second sun completely feasible. This sun assumes a seasonal (antarctic summer) rotation along the edge of the disk, then orbits elsewhere as winter comes. Before you jump all over this as invoking a "convenient" phenomena lacking evidence, remember that it was not until recent history that the spherists themselves claimed to be able see black holes, Pluto, or planet X. All were assumed to exist before evidence was readily available.

2 commentairesThe problem comes from your assertion that with the world being flat it is also one sided. Think of flat earth as a flat disc, with land and people on two sides. Cosmic pressure is actually a force that exerts downward pressure uniformly. The formula F=Gm1m2/r2 is better expressed as G=Cfm1m2/r2. The flat two sides nature of earth is exactly where the term "dig a hole to China" originated as the Incans actually dug a tunnel from Machu Picchu to the other side of the earth. Which unfortunately was mistaken for China by archaeologists (they actually dug to what is now the border of Vietnam and Cambodia.

I'll show you my proof that the earth is round after you show me yours that earth is flat

You do you boo boo.

Okay, I've posted on two of your other threads with disproof and now I need to just go crazy here. 1) Antartica's existence disproves flat earth theory. 2) No, there isn't two suns, we'd see it in the North Pole if that was the case. 3) It is clear that you're depressed, and want attention of any kind. I'm not against that, but this isn't the attention you want, this is notoriety.

Modifié par Shortyducks : 3/30/2016 9:34:05 PMCharter a plane. Fly to the edge of your supposed earth cookie. Take a picture of the edge. Post it. You'll be the most celebrated flat earther on your entire earth cookie. (Really hard to keep a straight face when typing most celebrated flat earther) Now, for my REAL response. How's life under that bridge, troll?

6 commentairesDo you have any proof that a second sun exists? Or are you just making things up again?

6 commentairesModifié par KaoticHavoc : 3/30/2016 4:59:29 PM1. Your example gif is not of a flat earth and validates nothing. 2. A second sun would cause noticeable and measurable amounts of gravitational disturbances. 3. Are you assuming a geocentric solar system model? If so this doesn't work due to how gravity works. 4. Knowledge of the solar system and planets is not recent history. Ever since the invention of the telescope astronomers have been able to glimpse celestial bodies and make educated inferences about them. Changing my approach with you. I'll be surprised if you respond. If you don't, you really aren't serious about this and are a fake. Edit: no surprise OP won't respond. You're a fake plain and simple.
