Destiny is dead (suicide )
And bungie doesn't care. There is nothing to do in this game. Only whatever weekly challenge has any meaningful loot. It's incredibly dry and more and more players leave daily.
During house of wolves we had
Crota
VoG
Poe
Nightfall
Weekly
Strikes
Trials
Ironbanner
Vendors and of course rerolling
All had gear and weapons of value as anything could be leveled with etheric light.
Today we have
Kingsfall challenge

It's not that any other game is killing destiny it's that it's done so itself.
How does bungie not care? Next week the biggest competition ever for destiny releases (the division ) and the weekly update doesn't even remotely give a hint as to something to hope for..... seriously whether you like the division or not it's the same concept. A massive open social game with rpg and loot systems. It's going to be one that dedicated players spend countless hours playing. And the season pass trailer released this week ... not only is there a massive amount of Content but i forgot what it looked like for game developers to have a plan.
Now this isn't to say that the division is better than destiny. I adored year 1 and put in over 1000 hours... I doubt that any game will ever do the same for me again.
But with a game that can replace ttk in its current situation releasing in less than a week and bungie not even attempting to hold on to some players... it's shameful. ..
I hope that the spring update brings me back because I miss the golden age. But call me crazy with how lazy this company has become my money is on they add 3 more challenges to kingsfall and that's it...
And to those that say "if anyone still plays it it's alive" by that definition any game is alive. .. cod ghosts is alive.... the truth is this game is a shadow of its former glory and getting worse thanks to greed and laziness
Think Monday night I'm gonna do a getting shelved party for destiny and go through all the old raids and strikes before it goes back in the case until I have reason to play again.

89 commentairesNot very fair to say most of what you are saying. All those things can still be played. I saved all my old vault guns and some crota ones. You guys cry way too much. Blame bungie for every little tiny thing your little brain can think of. I'm not jumping ship just yet. I'm excited to see what's in store for this game. They will tell us soon. I've had countless fun hours on destiny. With friends, doing things solo, the sense of accomplishment has been given to me and my raid teams time and time again. I'm not going to discount that or discredit that just because you haters think it's edgy and cool to shit on a game that you have all enjoyed immensely.

2 commentairesHonestly there is no reason for me to play anymore. I've done [i]everything[/i] and on top of that I have all the weapons and gear I could want. I even became a Sherpa for trials because even [i]that[/i] got boring to complete x3 every week. Now I rarely get on, either to play with family or when the others Sherpas desperately need help I might hop on for an hour or two. The game itself is far to dry now, for us Day ones the game is a shell of its former glory. Say what you want about year one, bad rng never getting exotics and master rahool shitting you with green weapons from legendarys but damn, it was one hell of a time. Now I'm either playing fire emblem or going back to Kingdom hearts ( for those who've heard of either of these) because they have an incredible amount of end game content actual [i]good[/i] story line, and while they may not be fps or multiplayer games they fit what I like to play. Then again the sheep will always return, I'm sure when the next "big" dlc or whatever comes out il hop on to give it a look over but I really won't truly come back. The game is no longer fun, every expansion is disappointing imo in some way, for now il wait for kh3 release date and replay fire emblem 6-7 times before I've done everything. But in the time that has followed, with the drought of content and increasing fan frustration, destiny has effectively gone into a coma. I just hate to use the term dead, because death is irreversible. I think the state of destiny is reversible, it just needs some TLC. (DLC :)
