I'm not sure if you've heard the news about Apple and the FBI. Apple is refusing to unlock a phone used by the terrorists in California and the FBI is pressing them for the greater good.
Who do you support?

2 commentairesI have to side with Apple here and quote the great Ben Franklin on this. "Those who sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither" Apple should stand up to the government, as the government cannot demand a backdoor for anything. The government in recent years has gone way past the power they should have.

Apple. You don't develop a backdoor into something and only use it once. Nice try FBI.

9 commentairesI support the FBI. I just don't understand why people want their "privacy", like what are you hiding? Are you just afraid of them seeing your nudes? Your naked body isn't that special; if it is, then you're already online.
-
1 commentaireFBI. When the safety of the public is called into question, some privacy needs to be violated.
-
"We'll only use it once"

Apple really respects its customer privacy

1 commentaire*Not sure if this is possible but, what if they removed the simcard from the phone, place it in another and use the contact info to interview his contacts?*

Apple, national security is not their job.

Apple is refusing their access to ALL IPHONES open your eyes sheeple! Bush did 9/11 AHHHHHHHHH
-
I don't believe that Apple should be forced to comply, but wether or not they should chose to comply is a matter of debate.

I support my self screw apple and the FBI

M'aiq wishes Apple would man up and give the codes away.
-
It's scary to think Apple is smarter than the FBI.
-
Apple should help the FBI unlock that one phone and call it a day.

I support Apple in this specific instance. The FBI asked for a backdoor operating platform, that would allow them access into any iPhone, anywhere. Domestic spying aside, with that would also run the risk of the platform being hijacked and used by potentially malevolent entities. Had the FBI simply asked for this single phone to be cracked, and apple refused, in that case I'd support the FBI.
-
who do i support? People trying to unlock a phone to potentially save lives or a company that makes the worse phones in the entire world.

The NSA

I think its hilarious. Apple has always been very liberal and in support of democrat policies. Now a democrat government is trying to subvert them and overreach under the guise of national security. Just fantastic when they turn on each other. Also Apple is in the right here, mostly. Even if it is an individual case it has far reaching consequences. How are terrorists labeled, who has privacy rights and who doesnt?

1 commentaireLet them unlock that Iphone Don't let them make Apple put a backdoor in our phones
