Free ghosts for all the people. What a great idea
Edit: who cares if my max light is 311? I just thought that playing 7 games of crucible to get max gear for anyone is a little obsurd.
Edit 2: Can someone PleEAsE tell me what a casual is, because apparently playing destiny for near 2 weeks isn't enough anymore

3 commentairesAs a guy with 3 320s (trade ghost around) this a great incentive to get people into pvp and try for a ghost. Dont act all salty about it be happy that the damn elusive ghost stopping many players from hitting 320 id finally going to be obtainable

It has nothing to do with being a casual. I've done every end game activity (except for trials) every week since year two dropped and still only have a 319 ghost. It's just RNG

2 commentairesPart of me is annoyed that I have pretty relentlessly pursued the Red Shell, with no success. I have a 309 chocolate shell, I can pretty much guarantee my freebie shell will be another chocolate shell. I have a 320 Raid Shell and a 320 IB shell. Not sure why Bungie are promising a 320 shell, I would of preferred they offer a 310 shell. Wouldn't this 'encourage' people to Raid (even if they just ran Totems). Now Guardians have less reason to play till the new content drops. I know several people that just need a 320 shell. Since the news, they have stopped playing Crimson Doubles and Destiny.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but I played those 7 games not for the 320 ghost, but for the ghost itself. Who doesn't want either a chocolate or candy ghost?!

Doesn't matter. LL increase with new DLC will make all the grinding irrelevant anyway. So let them get their 320 ghost, it'll be obsolete in a little while.

Primary- Oryx Challenge Secondary- Warpriest Challenge Heavy- Warpriest Challenge Ghost- Crimson Doubles Helmet- Oryx Challenge/SRL Gauntlets- Golgoroth Challenge Chestpiece- " " Boots- " " Class Item- SRL (debatable because it technically can drop between 280 and 320 but still, all you have to do is race a sparrow a bunch of times) Artifact- All Challenges

So you didn't do at least the required 7 games because "you thought it absurd". I guess that would be YOUR loss then as Bungie stated they messed up and the drop rate was way lower than what it was supposed to be. The term "casual" and "competitive" are so stupid and immature. I'd imagine if people really care about their k/d they might have this issue, but caring about an in-game number is pretty dumb in and of itself.

IB just keeps giving me 314 shells (and one 317). King's Fall has given me 300 to 318 inclusive. (Hard mode has been dropping them consecutively from 310 to 318). Finally getting a 320 shell would be great as not everyone gets lucky drops.

I've ran hard mode totems tons of times and farmed rank 5 iron banner just to get a 318. I will take my 320 with a side of fries thank you very much.
