Hello Community! Today I want to discuss GTA V. Yes the game is well into its life cycle, however, on paper, it's still a better game than most games these days not named the Witcher 3.
[CLOSED]
The answer I was looking for provided by Lethenza:
And I've realized something; a huge part of a game is it's fun factor. That makes or breaks the game for many. And it's completely subjective. Some people could simply think GTA V is more fun than MGSV or vice versa. Just food for thought, I guess. Something to keep in mind. Whatever conclusion we come to here isn't final; people still need to have their opinions of every game, and numbers don't necessarily make one game better than another.
The point was, you can't prove that GTA V is better since it does have more content per dollar. But since fun factor is a huge part of gaming, that's something that can't be proven.
Hello Community! Today I want to discuss GTA V. Yes the game is well into its life cycle, however, on paper, it's still a better game than most games these days not named the Witcher 3.
Disclaimer: I don't play GTA V anymore. I stopped playing over a year ago. This isn't a fanboy talking, this is logic. And thus, in your futile effort to prove me wrong, attempt to use reason.
IMPORTANT: Before you call this post an opinion, consider this simple explanation on the relationship between an argument and an opinion:
An argument is an assertion together with evidence.
An assertion without evidence is just an opinion.
Evidence without an assertion is simply a summary.
On this premise, this post doesn't qualify as an opinion; it does however, qualify as an argument. So, without further adue....
Grand Theft Auto V is the best game of recent memory, prove me wrong.
What GTA V Offers
•A main campaign that offers perspectives around three different characters
•Side missions that you can either access or just pop up
•A plethora of weapons, both ranged and melee (that can be customized)
•A huge open world
•Top tier graphics on current gen consoles
•A plethora of vehicles (which also can be customized)
•A fully customizable online character
•Fully fleshed online modes that range from standard team Deathmatch to Races to missions etc.
•Wildlife
•A total of 276 things to do (missions/activities, via IGN) (not including the game's online mode)
Let me draw a comparison between GTA V and Fallout 4 without introducing opinions
What GTA has that Fallout 4 doesn't
•Better graphics
•A larger world
•More wildlife
•More activities
•More missions
•Better customization
•More vehicles
•An online mode (complete with its own missions)
What Fallout 4 has that GTA doesn't
•Skills and perks
•Dialogue choices (they rarely effect gameplay but okay)
•Settlement building
•A loot system
That's the point. While only sticking to things that can be proven, GTA mops the floor with Fallout 4 in a face to face compare and contrast.
What GTA has that the Witcher 3 doesn't
•More vehicles
•More missions
•Deeper customization
•An online mode
What the Witcher 3 has the GTA V doesn't
•A larger world
•More dynamic combat
•Better RPG elements
•More weapons
Even compared to the 2015 GOTY, GTA V stacks up nicely.
I dare you, try to find a game in recent memory that is better than GTA V.

ITTT: OP will argue GTA as the best game regardless of your opinion and valid arguments. OP is a GTA fanfanatic that uses 3 sources for arguments, one being "IGN"... IGN!!! Ignorant Gaming Network

1 commentaireI want to see your source for GTA V having more missions than the Witcher 3, i think the only thing that GTA does better in any way than the witcher is online, everything CD Projekt red did they did better than Rockstar.

How do you prove an opinion wrong or right? It varies depending on the person

2 commentairesI like a game more therefore to me it it better. I don't care what you say.
This is how someone should choose to play a game
Not wrong, but i got bored of it

Its imposible to objectively prove something like best game, which is subjective by nature. The main reason is that most positive aspects of a game and their weighted importance will be determined by personal preferences. For example perks and skills might be loved by some gamers whereas to others they might be considered tedious and boring. To the former, games like fallout and diablo might be great while the latter may not care at all for them.

Well said. I put in my vote for Garrys Mod for the endless amount mods and open world/ multiplayer modes, which are both close to endless, and never a shortage of just things to do. So, Gmod: Game of a year long ago.

The terrible community, horribly handled economy, and stupidly shallow game types beg to differ. even when rockstar is being creative there are still terrible imbalances. I'm not even going to get into how terribly they handle their own game. I literally only play it because my friends do. and even then I don't have very much fun. I'm so glad I didn't waste 60$ on this trash. I'd have rather bought lords of the fallen for the full price. which is saying something.
