So I just had a friend tell me that titans require a unimaginable amout of skill to herd all players to one place to use fists of havic and hammers of sol got nerfed to oblivion. But with hunters you have to learn how to teleport where you want and how to walk right up to someone when invisible. Which class really takes the most skill?

Titans in pvp. Hunters in pve.
-
You would have to know the skill to gameplay effectiveness for each class. In pve Titans are easy enough to pick up and use effectively but rather difficult to master. Hunters are a little different at being harder to pick up but being much easier to master. I don't pvp enough to want to give an opinion on thier performance there, but what limited experience I have suggests that hunters are easy as hell to pick up for pvp hence their popularity in the crucible.

1 commentaireI voted Hunter, but I'm just questioning your friends theory. How the -blam!- does it take skill to "herd" people? If I'm thinking of the same thing, it's pretty much just using FoH whenever you see 2+ people.

4 commentairesThere's a reason why out of the Top 100 players. 7 are titans.

Modifié par Kabr : 1/9/2016 3:13:20 AMTitans are harder. Overall slower, skating works but if u -blam!- up ur dead and its hard to skate on small ass maps. passives kinda suck compared to hunter. Hunters have alot more tools to suit different play styles. Hunters have bomb ass nades. Tripmines are best in game. Hunter supers net more kills and are easier to use, besides FoH. Getting multi kills with FoH is harder tho. Im biased.

1 commentaireOk so just so everyone knows I'm a WARLOCK MAIN I've playe on all characters and seriously hunters take more skills to use... I've always done incredibly well with titans striker to be specific and hunters you have to actually try

In my opinion, both are easy to use at a basic level. Titans tend to have an intuitive playstyle while Hunters get passive buffs to accuracy that are very helpful for gun fights. I think it varies by subclass to some extent, but for me, Hunters are easier to use at a more competitive level in PVP. This is because of the passive buffs to gun play like Gunslingers Trance and QuickDraw, and because of their supers. I tend to perform better as a Gunslinger than as a Titan, although I play as a Titan more. I think pre-nerf Sunbreaker had one of the easier supers to use in PVP, but now it is more challenging and requires better timing. It probably used to be amongst the easiest to play well as prior to being nerfed. I think Striker Titans and Defenders are harder to play as at a competitive level in PVP because their abilities require very good positioning. Lightning grenades are amazing but only if you land them on a wall at the right angle. Similarly Fist of Havoc or Ward of Dawn can be great but only if you position yourself well and time them right. I die all time trying to advance to a good position where it would actually be useful to use Fist of Havoc rather than using it as a panic button. Similarly most of the Striker abilities are high risk close range abilities. In contrast, Gunslingers, Bladedancers, and Sunbreakers have more flexibility to create plays because they can roam. They still have to be careful about where they activate their supers, but the positioning is less key. I think Nightstalkers are pretty interesting because they have a great and versatile neutral game but it requires more direct control over how you play, rather than offering passive background abilities. So I think this subclass is one of the higher skill subclasses to play competitively. Like smoke and shade step make for some creative playstyles and maneuvering. Overall, I'd say that Defenders and Nightstalkers take the most skill to play really well, probably followed by Strikers. Defenders have so little going for them that you need good gun skill and timing to be successful while Nightstalkers have so many abilities that you need to think carefully how to make them all work together. I think the overall K/D stats support this assessment as well. Just my opinions. Not trying to attack anybody.

Hunter for pve they don't have very much regeneration for health
-
Depends on PvE or PvP, the game mode or mission type, how many you have on your team. There's alot of different ways in which one is easier in a certain situation than the other.
-
Wait, this game requires skill?
-
I pick titan, since you have to think more about when to use your súper, they are all less mobile. But thats the only reason, i play The same with all (but the warlock jump sucks)
-
10 commentairesI have never been able to land a proper FoH on anyone in PvP. All those scrubs who think Fost of Panic is really easy is wrong because it isn't. Golden Gun or Shadow Shot, hell even arc blade is easier to use.
-
I dont know why titans cry so much... i main a hunter but is so super fun sholder charge the universe to death.fist of hav9c is soooo fun with death from above
-
1 commentaireIts not really skill its luck to FoH more then 2 people. Players dont hurdle up in spots so its very rare. It doesnt take skill its just luck. Ive gotten 6 people with FoH and only one time and i main a striker titan for pvp ( i mess around as defender here and there).

3 commentairesLol these polls are pointless. Hunter mains will say hunters require more skill. Titan mains will say Titans require more skill. Warlock mains will say warlocks require more skill. And since Hunter is the most played of the 3 classes, of course they will win a voting poll. In reality, none of the classes require more skill than another to use. Supers don't require skill, all the classes have access to nearly identical grenades in one way or another... So instead of worrying about class skill focus on gun skill and just use the class you have fun with.
-
I find them all easy to use.
-
Titans are the easiest class to use, no doubt about it.
-
Warlocks are easy mode Titans are intermediate Hunters are advanced I main a warlock
-
I agree hammers got nerfed into oblivion. Before you were lucky to get a entire team wiped in 5 seconds. Now you're lucky if you GET A SINGLE KILL.
-
1 commentaireTitans, because of defender.
-
The fact that Titans suck compared to hunters doesn't mean they take more skill.
-
Depends on the person using the class. I've seen some scrub titans and some scrub hunters. But never a scrub warlock ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
-
The only thing that's different between the tree class's are the people who use them.....

2 commentairesWARLOCKS MASTER RACE! ! ! ! ! !
-
Hunter. Titan is your everyday shooter. Warlocks are in between. Love all 3 BTW.
-
I main a Titan and it takes no skill being a hunter. I get kills like nothing using a hunted. Why do you think most destiny players main a hunter? Nuff said
